I mean, whenever a "news" station is created solely to cover every story with a certain slant, it's not a news station.

Fox News is nakedly biased towards right-wing causes. I don't think anyone on earth could say otherwise with a straight face.
A lot of the hate they get is because they pretend to be this beacon of objectivity (which somehow isn't negated by the fact that they constantly position themselves as the 'alternative' to liberal-leaning news stations). If you want to make a conservative news channel, go ahead. But it's annoying when they treat it like everyone else has to play along with them and agree that they're 'fair and balanced.'
Additionally, it's not just that they're biased. They lie. Constantly. They have a narrative, and anything that doesn't fit the narrative is ignored, mocked, or treated with vitriol.

Cable news is all garbage. The need to "report" 24 hours a day has destroyed any attempt at providing journalism.

Fox News is an attempt to show the other side of a story, to counter CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC and others who are decidedly slanted to the left. However, they are blatantly biased to the right. At the same time, a right slanted network was sorely needed to counteract the mainstream media. It's just they went too far. As to the charge above that they lie, I don't think so. Please cite examples.

www.politifact.com/truth-o-meter/article/2015/feb/26/fact-checks-behind-daily-shows-50-fox-news-lies/ - There's a quick little thing. There's tons of documentation of them lying, thought a package of 50 someone else already put together would be a good start. But it isn't just the lying. It's the blatant manufacturing of false narratives. Anything that doesn't fit what Fox already *knows* is mocked/dismissed/attacked/ignored. Whether it be months and months of them desperately pushing for Benghazi to be the new Watergate, or their casual endorsement of things like Birthers and Swift Boat Veterans for Truth, they are in the reality-creating business. They don't report on news, they aggressively filter everything through a right-wing worldview without any sort of concern for the truth. It explains why they became the American Pravda from 2001-2009 and then unsurprisingly presented themselves as rebellious, opposition journalism in early 2009. This isn't me defending CNN, MSNBC, or any other news channel. Many have biases, but Fox is in a league of its own when it comes to constructing an alternate reality. It is EXTREMELY well done propaganda.

If you're really unable to see that he meant NBC and CBS, or if that really was your best retort, then it's not worth engaging with you on any topic.

Guess Fox is not the only partisan network. ABC seems to be downplaying Gorgeous George Stephanopolous (or similar spelling) and his $75,000 contribution to the Clinton Foundation.

Joe Scarborough is on the wrong network.... Though surprised that he would be on MSNBC defending Fox News a competitor. Maybe Scarborough is preparing to jump networks?

The 2 biggest culprits for the election night fiasco was Dick Morris (former Pres. Clinton Advisor who got let go from Fox News) and Karl Rove who kept predicting a land side for Mitt Romney based off of their statistical data.... The fact that Karl Rove still has a job at Fox News shows that Rove is a major, major player in the Republican Super Pac arena.

I strongly disagree this is analogous. All the other groups you mentioned are either corporate groups or executives. Stephanopolous is a purportedly objective media personality who regularly directly interviews political candidates and figures. Not only did he work for the Clintons when they were in the white house but you would think disclosing such a donation would be obvious when you're interviewing and challenging somebody who has written a book that highlights conflicts of interest generated by donations to the Clinton foundation. With respect to the overarching topic, Fox News is right of center compared to the mean ideology of other tv and specifically cable news stations. In terms of lying and the 'propaganda' presented by fox news, I suspect it's no worse than most other tv stations. If they disagree with your particular political mood affiliation you may recognize their supposed inaccuracies or narratives more readily than other stations (also possibly because you consume politically monolithic sources of news that are more interested in highlighting their inaccuracies) but I think that's not particularly great evidence that they're inherently any more biased than most other news stations. In fact, there have actually been a number of academic studies that look at media bias in general that have detailed only a few specific findings: Overall news media is generally left leaning. Certain fox news shows and the washington times lean to the right. Print media appears to lean ideologically towards what they believe their consumers prefer. newsroom.ucla.edu/releases/Media-Bias-Is-Real-Finds-UCLA-6664faculty.chicagobooth.edu/jesse.shapiro/research/biasmeas.pdfwww.forbes.com/sites/jeffbercovici/2013/03/18/pew-study-finds-msnbc-the-most-opinionated-cable-news-channel-by-far/freakonomics.com/2012/02/16/how-biased-is-your-media/ Personally, I don't watch news on tv in general and prefer news on the internet but I think more Americans are likely to become even more closed off to differing views because the internet makes it even easier to avoid any outlets that challenge one's preconceived notions.

"Certain Fox New shows" lean to the right?
Come on. No one can take the rest of your post seriously if you're going to try and sell that.
Of course Fox News is going to "lie" more than the major news channels (i.e. ABC/NBC/CBS, not MSNBC) because they're pandering to a certain audience and have a directive to disagree with certain viewpoints and narratives.
