I agree with everyone. I am one of those out of town fans that goes to 80% road games (live in Crapneticut) and go to the booth once or twice a year. I know there are several fans like me (jahidi comes to mind) who get stuck in the upper deck while opposing fans are down below. I would love to get my hands on lowers and would pay more than face value- PM me for Louisville if any become available. I guess that is what the "ticket exchange" thread above is for but it doesn't seem like the "sellers" are too interested in selling to fans, rather than make a couple of extra bucks !

I know it is going to be the main blog, but we have a Good DeJuan/Bad DeJuan issue on our hands. When he is not involved in the game, he is a totally different player. His body language, aggressiveness, and DECISION MAKING is not good to say the least. For his many talents that have won us games (including the elite 8), he may be the poorest rebounder for his size in the country. Just very fortunate to escape with a win. Jeremiah bashing should be over for at least another game or so and Jessie showed ONIONS tonight. PE also stepped up in the second half. Hopefully this is another reminder that there is no off night in this conference. I need to go for a run!

BMG you are like that superlative in high school talks least but says most ! Good point on Vern and the back to backs
which gets me to thinking, what poster would win the talks most but says least award ? My vote Mr Sixer !

III should be using this as a prime example of not taking nights off and coming out with some fire. Besides Macklin, who else played well ? This needs to be drilled into them this week and especially on Sunday after we crush the Irish. EXPECT a different level of play next Monday night vs. Mr. Magoo and his band of thugs. Two home wins, alot of energy, and we will be back on the right track- just didn't expect this from an experienced team.
One more thing- I know that it isn't our style, but I remember ONE time where we took someone off the dribble- PE jr in the second half- he missed butI didn't care I was so happy to see an aggressive move to the hoop !

Not to beat a dead horse, (or fluffy white husky) but I couldn't agree more with Jahidi and other out of towners who like I do try to get to the booth once or twice a year and get stuck with Stub Hub or Ebay tix in the upper bowl. Seeing some clown on ESPN with a Ucon #4 jersey on 10 rows behind our bench makes me sick. I get to one game a year with my wife and usually end up upstairs for outrageous prices. No Orange anywhere-especially downstairs ! I would be glad to pay more for good Louisville seats-sell them to us, not the enemy !

As if the memphis outcome wasn't enough, Ucon and Providence play home games with Grey in their uni's.

C'mon now! How many teams have as much talent as us 5 or 6 maybe. Yes, Jeff is gone-but get over it and support this team. Today was not good, hopefully-and I trust that III will use this as a great learning tool on many things (tougness, rebounding, hustle, FT shooting, and intangibles). This loss might help as we get into BE play.

Free Throws and PE JR. No defensive rebounding, ill-advised shots, taking the ball off the rim, etc. Not a good half. Roy needs to step up and Austin needs more minutes. TURN IT UP A NOTCH!

Amen Jahidi, I was the one who sat next to you in Spike Lee's seats at the garden a few years back. We had a great time as Ashanti came barreling into you, your wife, and accountant. Still remember the cheerleaders being scared of being mocked by some crazy guy in a dog mask !

Living in Ct. and having to read another Calhoun debacle, I am more proud to be a Hoya Fan every day. Calhoun was ejected last night vs. Northeastern as F-Bombs could be heard all across Gampel Pavilion. Slamming his hands on scorer's table and constantly whining and pulling players after every turnover. This does not even begin to get into every off the court illegal shady move that he has pulled. And of course, he is far from the only crook in college hoops (see Dec. 22nd opponent's coach). III does things right with class and respect. Last night Ucon's Dyson player played 30+minutes- a previous post talks about III getting the most of all his minutes from frosh, giving them valuable playing experience. Win or lose, we have a program on and off the court that we can be proud of. Unfortunately some of my tax dollars go to Ct's highest paid state employee, a clown with 0 class. Can't wait to trounce them in January!

I must have missed the paragraph in the recent SI where you wanted to cheer on your rivals!

Any idea when home games go on sale to the public. I make one trip a year to the Booth and can't remember when they go on sale. I think I remember last year different games went on sale at different times, not all at once.

For his last workout with the Celts, I hope that he stayed up late to watch the NBA finals, saw that young players like LeBron have no chance against the elder statesmen, went to bed late and is a step slow today for his workout. Celts pass on him (please Doc, throw your kid a bone) and he decides to return on Monday.

What a year it was !
I got the chills reading the front page this morning. Especially the part of the "We are Georgetown" chant in Manhattan on a rainy March night. I was lucky enough to be there and on the edge of my seat/or floor for many others.
Thanks Again, I can't say it enough ! The Best is Yet to Come !
