Was rooting for them yesterday, and they choked that away vs Creighton.
Now they face PC ahead of our game, and could be 0-4 and desperate against our rusty/rested team.

I hope they have enough common sense to hold it at McDonough without fans.

I hope they have enough common sense to hold it at McDonough without fans. I got an email from Georgetown asking me to buy tickets at around 10:40 am this morning. So, it's definitely at Capital One, with fans (probably not that many.

Shaka Smart's first game in DC First BE game in DC, not first ever. Shaka's VCU beat GW at the Verizon center in the BB&T Classic 2011. I remember going, the attendance rivalling some of the Hoya games from this season, and being unimpressed with both teams.

Isn't a Friday night game for the Hoyas unusual? It seems that the Ivies do that all the time.

I bet this is a trial balloon to see if they can't generate more student attendance as well as pick up some of the Friday night Penn Quarter traffic. Of course Omicron makes this less of a true test. You know, when I think about it, for all you geezers out there didn't we used to play Friday night games in the 60's at McDonough?

I always wanted more Friday night games bc everyone is much more available, no class the next day, and it’s an easy and free way to get downtown that evening encouraging students

I remember all sorts of things associated with the Hoyas from the 60's, but I do not have a clear memory of games on Friday, which doesn't mean we did or did not have them then.

They’re 0-3 and we’re undefeated so I don’t know what all this “clear worst team in the Big East” talk is all about

Barely even remember what this team looks like. Can't wait to see them on the court again.

I mean it's hard to argue with his analysis - we have certainly looked like the worst team in the Big East for most of this season. We should still beat a team like Marquette at home (no great feat), but with the long layoff who knows.
