Has anybody heard anything else about this kid? I was looking through "https://twitter.com/ITANativeSports" and this kid is a straight up "BALLER!" He would be a good pick-up for PE and staff especially since its pretty obvious that they're looking for a SG. We need experience to get us in the post season next year and outside of the talent of the league he's currently playing in, I think he's got the drive to get us there.

If Jolly is 23 and still at a Juco he might not be a good academic fit. He’s 21 years old. He redshirted at Baylor, played limited minutes as a RS Freshman last season , then decided to transfer to juco for this season. The transfer was reported as a playing time/find the right fit thing. I have no idea of his academics but I don’t see any clear red flags. I like that he rebounds, and that he has 41 steals and 31 blocks thru 26 games this year (so he contributes in other ways than just scoring). I still would like us to look at this guy. Guard with good size. Athletic and stat sheet stuffer. Led the nation in rebounding in juco as a guard.

Evans has now been offered by Florida St.

Don't remember seeing that Georgetown had offered Brandon Rachal before he committed to Tulsa, but makes sense given that he was recruited to LSU by Robert Kirby originally.

ExcerptGeorgetown coach and NBA legend Patrick Ewing was in attendance during NIC’s semifinal games at the NWAC tournament and spoke with Evans after the Cardinals’ semifinal win.
“It was great, and it was also kind of crazy and nerve-racking, because not many people get to see him or see any NBA legends. So, being able to see him, I’m very thankful for that opportunity. It was really fun to play in front of him,” Evans said.
It’s be a whirlwind since. In addition to visits with Florida State and Georgetown, Evans has received scholarship offers from Washington State and Gonzaga. The Cougars had representation in Coeur d’Alene on Thursday to visit with Evans.
On Saturday, Evans will make the trip across the country to visit Leonard Hamilton and the Seminoles, who advanced to the Sweet 16 of this year’s NCAA Tournament. FSU, coincidentally, lost to Gonzaga, another one of Evans’ finalists.
“I’m still deciding. I’ve kind of wired down my choices, but I still have yet to make a decision,” said Evans, who didn’t offer any hints to how he’s leaning. “I think I’m going to make a decision here in a couple weeks.”

Disappointing...not even a visit after PE and Kirby flew all the way to Idaho to see/meet him...Leonard Hamilton strikes again...

I was hoping they would make a run at him if Cole didn’t commit. He seemed receptive to the pitch, but I didn’t see a confirmation of an offer from us either and FSU offered and closed. Bummer. I hope PE has something up his sleeve.

www.jucorecruiting.com/news_article/show/964420I n 17-18 season, John Logan went an impressive 26-6 with a freshman PG, 6’1 David Sloan. Sloan averaged 12 points per game, 9.5 assists per game, 4.8 rebounds per game and 1.2 steals per game. He shot 48.4% from the floor and 38.7% from 3. Sloan has a great handle and the ability to make plays all over the court. He does a great job of setting up his teammates in great position to score.

I wish they showed more of what the 9 assists per game is about, but I like it..
