So psyched for the team....there were so many epic collapses. Tonight they made a few mistakes down the stretch but there was no collapse.
Congrats PE and the team!
Best win in years.

Imagine if Nova beat SJU this week, we would have beaten them by 30! But they were ready for us, not wanting to lose two in a row. Sigh, only 12 point win. The wicked witch of the east has melted from the precipitation. Great game Hoyas!!!

This is too freaking good to be true. I really thought we would beat the Hall, and I gave us no chance tonight after Nova blew that last game to St. John's. It just shows, I don't know #$%#. We played them well in Philly with Gillespie playing out of his mind...and we still had a good chance with 6mins left.... Yeah, I know. But our pattern until the last week had been to play better on the road than at home. See Butler, St. John's and Providence. I expected that to continue today, particularly with Nova having lost to St. John's.

Well that was painful, Congratulations. Hopefully they get Round 3 at The Garden Classy move, novafan2, returning to this board after the game. See you for Round 3 in NYC!

They finally realized the best way to overcome late game sloppiness is by whipping the other team before the last 2 minutes begin!

I’ve been so conditioned to epic meltdowns that I feel more relief than joy. Huge win in any event. Definitely well deserved. Villanova started the pressure about three minutes late.Lol....WOW....This win must be eating you alive! Tearing you up inside. Hard to beat that drum tonight but yet You still try and find a way... I'll let you get back to posting in codes & BEATING THOSE DRUMS!

Amazing effort tonight! Jessie was phenomenal. Kaleb, Mac fantastic. And very solid outing by Akinjo.
But my player of game was Govan. We have needed him to show up big for a couple of weeks, and tonight he was really tremendous. Great effort. Great work on the boards. Superb passing. Cheers to you Jessie! Really brought it tonight big fella!

Some shakiness closing out both halves notwithstanding, this was easily the Hoyas best and most complete performance of the season. Agreed and congrats on Manny Machado btw Ha, thanks. Now the Pads just need some pitching!

As others have said, Kaleb and Jagen were great tonight. They did their jobs and played like men.
I also think this was the the best example I've seen this year of Ewing's rotations really working exactly as he wanted them to.

Are we wearing black at home? That'd be odd, though we did wear the teal at home too. Attention Georgetown: THIS is the home jersey: Totally agree with you, but for context they had a lot of tributes to black history month before and during the game so I’m sure that was part of Ewing’s decision to go with the black uniforms tonight.

Anything besides that hideous cursed aqua teal and I'm OK with it, honestly.

Of note: we are 3-for-3 in the second matchup against teams that beat us the first go around (SJ, NOVA, X), lets make that four this Saturday
