I have to admit after our depressing loss to DePaul at home, I never thought this team could win another game the rest of the year. Even through the crushing losses to Xavier and Providence, this group has continued to battle against teams that on paper, we have no business defeating. Congratulations to Coach Ewing and this team. I'm hoping and praying for a few more surprises during the final 4 regular season games and in the Big East tournament!

FYI..I've not been a Mulmore fan...I actually have been praising Dickerson..especially past 3-4 games. But..Mulmore hit two free throws down the stretch..when none of the other guards could..so many thanks to him!!

Wow, what a great edited win. This Dickerson thing, I mean, did NOT see that coming. A most pleasant surprise. Georgetown's ceiling keeps getting higher and higher, just like my blood pressure and heart rate!
LET'S GO HOYAS!!!!!

Confidence is a helluva drug. Glad they are feeling it and building on it. Terrific win.

This was a great win. I'm not sure what got into Dickerson tonight, but thank goodness it did, as we don't win without his performance. That said, we were quite fortunate that Butler's starters shot 1-16 on three point shots. I also hate to keep harping on this, but I have to note that Wideman (great name for a big) got offensive rebounds with 3:01, 2:03 and :51 left in the game. Down the stretch, he rebounded practically every missed shot. So I ask yet again, why can't we get defensive rebounds with the game on the line? But despite that, we won, so all is good. I agree with the comments about Pickett's early three point shots down the stretch. I attribute this to freshman error. Pickett has come a long way over the last few weeks, I have no doubt that he will learn from this, and fortunately, we won, so all is good. I predicted 3-15 after the DePaul loss, and I'm thrilled to have been proven wrong. The improvement in this team is remarkable. We've gone toe to toe with Creighton, Xavier, Seton Hall, Providence and Butler in our last five games, and that's something I would not have anticipated even a few weeks ago. Jahvon Blair says hello...

So impressive. They looked confident from the start and controlled basically the whole game. Wow. Anyone doubting Ewing now? There should be no doubts...He has really developed this team well. Some folks will have to wait their turn or really really improve to gain coaches confidence, but players have developed. This kindof developme t make me angry that Sodom could not control himself or exercise bettrr judgement so thst he might be a part of this. I'm sure he too would have developed that doggone sure is water under the bridge. I am happy for the team and happy for Coach Ewing. He's showing folks what he can do.

The Hoyas have improved so much this past few weeks and yet they have still not put together anything resembling a complete game. Many areas for growth still and with the progress being made no one is going to want to play this team in the Big East tournament come March.

How come no ones mentioned that we have now win as many BE games as we did last year with 4 games remaining, 3 of them very winnable. If they can get 7 BE wins this year, with a lineup nowhere near as strong as last year's and against a BE that I think is better than last year's then I think it is really hats off to PE and a definite statement about JT3. Plus, win or lose another game, these Hoyas are so much more fun to watch than they last 2 years versions.

I’m downing a Guinness or two to celebrate. The beer sure is cold tonight!! So you're why they have the "American" Guinness taps in Ireland. Thank you for those!

I also find this team more fun to watch than recent years. Further, just from my seat on the couch or in the stands, I feel that the players seem much more engaged and animated on the bench, as well. The style of play is surely more enjoyable to the eye. Sadly, another factor probably is that the expectations are lower this year , ..so the wins are sweeter.

Many areas for growth still and with the progress being made no one is going to want to play this team in the Big East tournament come March. Agree. Another baby step, contribution on offensive end by a pg(Dickerson)and limiting their 3pt shooting. They missed a ton of shots but few were without a hand in their face. Just think if they can get Blair and Pickett to have good shooting games together and they limit the to’s to under 10. Even with th limitation many players have this team still has a lot of growth it still can do.””

Confidence is a helluva drug. Glad they are feeling it and building on it. Terrific win. I think Dickerson agrees and his dad is probably thinking that he told everyone so. Just conjecture. Great game by Trey. He looked more in control than I've seen him. He doesn't have a lot of time left in his college career and I'd love to see him put another game up like tonight's next week.

Many areas for growth still and with the progress being made no one is going to want to play this team in the Big East tournament come March. How did the game at Xavier, with the lack of turnovers, domination of the boards and good shooting, at least not resemble a complete game? You measuring this team by the standards of the Golden State Warriors?
