WARNING: Keep the discussion civil and within bounds or posts will be deleted without warning. I would be civil if we only lost by 8 as you are suggesting in the subject line of this thread. Freudian slip posting now fixed.

Losing 3 starters for next year's team is going to be scary... Hopefully, the incoming freshman can have a big impact, we're going to need it!

At this point, 2 things matter, IMO. How we hide Chris injury , and whether we can actually get him back. 10-8 and 8th place in the best conference in the country with our OOC is still good enough for a 5/6 seed, but if the committee doesnt think Chris can play, we are going to get an 7/8 seed, and that would be bad.

What did we work on with our week off? We looked slow, weak, and confused.

Honestly if Chris doesn't come back for the tourney it's not going to matter anyway where we're seeded.

At times like this, my father used to say "Cheer up, things could be worse." So I cheered up and you know what happened? Things got worse. So today I think I will stay depressed.
At least UCONNvicts lost so we have until Wednesday nto figure things out.

I'm proud of our guys.
We fought to the end.
We were able make it a game for 3/4's of the game, but being shorthanded, we could only do so much.
Can't get mad at that.
Respect the effort and will of the players.
It would have been tough to pull out a victory considering the circumstances.
If we lost like this with Chris Wright, then we would have a reasonable ax to grind, but, when considering the circumstances, today's loss was not surprising.
Just got to do the best we can from here on out. Thats all we can do. We are what we are.

Cincinnati's a very good team though, it's not like we lost to DePaul.

Nah, see, this works out--I don't want to read the board for the next few days and I don't expect to spend a lot of time watching the Hoyas in the BET, which means I won't get distracted from studying for finals. Wait. That is worse than the alternative. Dammit.

Cincinnati's a very good team though, it's not like we lost to DePaul. We definitely could have kept it close against Depaul!

We really have shot the ball poorly for quite a while now.
