Rakeem Christmas, Syracuse, C –.... Recruiting analysts have indicated that Christmas’ offensive game needs work and that he often displays poor body language. Not poor body language!

Man, I love the high level of analysis in articles like this. "He needs to add bulk" ... "will benefit greatly from Syracuse’s strength program" ... "He'll benefit from some time in the weight room" So, hold on, you're saying these kids are in high school?

Didn't someone say we don't have a weight room?

Didn't someone say we don't have a weight room? That is correct. According to earlier reports, the current "weight room" is a section of tennis court at Yates that has been cordoned off for the team's use. Clarification: The "weight court" is the old basketball Court 1 on the west end of Yates. Basketball shares this space with all 29 teams.--Adminwww.guhoyas.com/genrel/112205aaa.html?pic=8

Sos glad we "missed" on Ochefu to land this kid. Favorite quotes from this thread:
I say we hold the scholarship for a 2012 burger boy. We've put ourselves in a position where we can afford to be selective.
Davis is not the best player in the country. That's Austin Rivers.
The fact that he mentions GU and then says that with Memphis "It's the same with academics" worries me about his evaluation!
Porter is no fool. He has just witnessed our signing of Greg. He has never even visited Gtown. He wants to be near his family. He is almost assuredly going to commit to Missouri. Case closed.
I'll take Whittington over Porter Does anyone here believe there is any possibility Porter ends up a Hoya? I don't see it. Possibility? Yes. Probability? Well . . .
He's going to start in front of Thompson, Lubick & Sims?
agree guru i'd be shocked if we got a commitment from Otto. The good thing is that it is obvious that the coach realizes that he needs to drastically improve talent. athleticsm, and length and do it now.
would say that Dajuan is probably the best example we can point to in order to convince a guy like Porter that we put guys in the L. The problem is that Dajuan is the least likely to advocate for Gtown.
Is it ok to point out the obvious now? According to this board's scholarship table we do not have room for Mr. Porter on the team.
Ayegba is going pro to make room - can't keep the best shotblocker since Patrick Ewing out of the NBA. You heard it here first.
Otto Porter is currently the #6 trending topic in the US. Damn it feels good to be a hoya

Well, that was good for a few yuks (except for Moses comment, which was obviously written tongue in cheek to begin with).
