is placing your message in all caps supposed to be some type of lame shout out?? i do agree that there is more than enough talent for a decent season and optimistically a very good season. In this case the "11" is not referring to his GU graduating class.

Thus Otto deserves a longer thread...our record holder can't be a rejected recruit!

Thus Otto deserves a longer thread...our record holder can't be a rejected recruit! Well it certainly can be as it's been that way for over a year. I think what you mean to say is it shouldn't be.

Serious question, because I know nothing about the kid, but just see everyone excited about him and him being a fairly highly ranked recruit, is he a serious potential candidate for early entry? I'm not saying like next year, but after year 2 or 3?
I know that all depends on how he plays and develops and all that nice stuff, but despite their high rankings coming out of high school, we knew the chances of Austin & Chris leaving early weren't especially high because of their body size, whereas we knew Greg was an almost certain early entry. I know there's the Macklin potential, where he was expected to go and didn't, and the Roy potential, where we never thought he could be early entry, but he certainly could have gone early if he'd wanted to.
But what's the consensus? Is this kid a good 4 year college player or is he someone that could go early if he develops as hoped/expected?
(There, that might push the discussion enough to beat Latavious.)

I'm thinking he is more of a Hollis/Summers early entry.

The 7.7 per game is from last year. This year he averaged 13.2. He seems to have had some injury issues and has not played since April 1st although his team is in the playoffs. He is 23 and would be going into his third college season.
