Will the buffet last after Ms. Hamilton gets there? The quality of WaPo columnists is going downhill.

What, no comments on not feeding the ball to Greg in the low post enough?
Commentary on this year's team is starting to get very predictable. This column doesn't say anything that hasn't already been said by television commentators ad nauseam.

Not like most of us aren't thinking it. I'm not sure at what point I'll feel comfortable relative to a collapse like last season.

The entire CB world is waiting for us to fold and buckle like last year (I don't blame them after how the season turned out in 09). All we have to do is keep the wins coming and the critics will shut up eventually. PARANOIA is creeping ! I just hope we don't burn-out by March.

Her column is a fair one. This is her first Hoya game of the season so of course its not a surprise she would bring up last season.

Excerpt Then again, any team that can come back to beat the Huskies after playing one of the most unwatchable first halves in recent memory has my attention. So does any team that features Austin Freeman, who scored 28 of his career-high 33 points after halftime.
...
They'll have to keep it up; there is little margin for error with so little depth, and one injury could be catastrophic for Georgetown. Still, it was the Hoyas' third win over a ranked opponent this season -- Butler and Washington were the other victims, both away from Verizon Center -- and their fourth straight victory over U-Conn. They'll likely move up in the top 25 when the new poll is released Monday. Then again, a midseason victory over the Huskies isn't always a harbinger of better days ahead. Predictable column. No very insightful. The difference between this year's Claw Back, second half victory over UCONN from 19 pts down and last year's breeze via hot three pt. shooting is the difference in the meaning of this game and the outlook for the Hoyas the remainder of this season. Many posters are still afraid to jump on board... waiting for the team to "prove" something. Not me. These kids deserve our 100% support! Hang on for a great ride!

Oh give her a break! Was there anyone, I repeat anyone, who did not have flashbacks to last year after the last half of the first half (formerly called the 2nd quarter) I think she is new to the Post and it's good she was at the game. You are right that the column wasn't particularly insightful but they had 3 writers at the game. 2 on GU and Feinstein on Calhoun. I think this is progress. I thought her article was basically quite positive and writers have to be a bit skeptical - can't be cheerleaders.

I like how she compares the team's depth to a "PIE TIN". Wonder where her mind is 100% of the time...

I'm not even sure she watched the game from reading that article. It sounds like she caught the press conference and looked at the box score. Nothing insightful at all.
Not to mention that she's an unabashed Kansas fan. I wouldn't ever expect love for the Big East or Georgetown.

Alright seriously, no more food or weight jokes. Give her a chance to write a few more columns before starting the Ad Hominem.
