Maybe DFW can you give us a scouting report. Of course, all I care about is whether or not he brings his pet pig named Bacon with him.

Painful reading. And she loves hyphens way too much. Yeah, I agree. She actually raised one or two points in here that I hadn't heard elsewhere—like how expanding the field might diminish the need for "marquee" wins, and so teams will have less incentive to schedule tough teams out of conference. That's a good point. I hadn't heard it before. +1 for Bertha Tracee. But the writing style just gets me. The headline: "NCAA tournament expansion: An idea whose time should never come." OK, um...an idea is not a person, so "whose" is out of place. And then she goes on to make a typical series of dumb jokes. ESPN has 6 billion stations? Jay Leno to 10pm was THE WORST idea in the history of ideas? I know, I know. All writers use bad humor here and there. But her jokes are often so out of place. And making fun of Jay Leno...EVERYONE is doing that. I'm sorry Tracee, but leave it to the professionals. I can tolerate a good sarcastic sports quip. Like I chuckled at "Everyone needs to see a third meeting each March between, say, Nebraska and Iowa State." But she needs to chill out with some of it. Did we need another Lane Kiffin barb?
