From what I can see, we are not in the running for his services. Despite what posters may think/say, everything that I have seen or read from this guy is that he is not considering us. In a listing of 9 or 10 schools, he neglects to mention the Hoyas? And this has happened repeatedly from different recruiting services. So what else can be extrapolated from this other than the fact he is not considering coming to DC?
Time to move on! This guy will likely be in Kentucky since UNC cancelled their in-home with the guy b/c their focus is CJ Leslie.

I haven't tracked him since he backed out of NCSU so I fully admit to not being up to speed on him now but when I have seen him he looked like the type of wacko head case Roy wasn't going to put up with.

Thanks for permission Hoyasincebirth...but i dont think you speak for the entire board. Furthermore, I dont see it mentioned here so I chose to post what was obvious to me being that I subscribe to boards others may not. If it doesnt tickle your fancy, dont read it/respond.
Anyway, Hoyawatcher-it is up on rivals. Leslie claims to have an offer from UNC. And the logical thinking is, because he and Terrance play the same position, Leslie is the UNC preference, so Roy chose not to waste his time and cancelled the in home wit Terrance.

I was just confirming, sorry it rubbed you the wrong way. I was just trying to say you're absolutely right.

Oh sorry. This board is so negative that at times I just assume everyone is trying to be a wiseguy. My fault for the misinterpretation...

Jones may be committing tonight. I think it will be Washington. This kid would have been perfect for our offense (not taking anything away from Nate who is also a great player).

thanks; I will stop dreaming. He sure looks PAC-10, but would love to have that talent and length at the 3/4 next year to go with Nate and hopefully Abraham/Walker/Reddic, etc. at the 4/5. And then hopefully Roc a year later.
But I guess Goodman gives us the length and some shot blocking, along with the long range, even if he isn't rated like Jones (yet).

Ship sailed a long time ago but I really like this kid's game (very good fit for our offense).

I really hopes he picks UK (my alternate Gtown school (3rd Generation UK supporter). Why wouldnt you go to U.K? Orton was barely a top 50 recruit, averaged less than 5 points a game off the bench and is now considered a 1st round pick in this year's draft.
Love him or hate him but Coach Cal is merely playing the system for what it is and getting these kids paid!

Perhaps he wouldn't go to UK because he has some scruples and he doesn't want to be contaminated by the stench. While I hope he picks UCLA, I'd much rather see him at UDub than UK.

Wherever he goes, he'll be outstanding. He's probably the best player we've recruited but backed away from since JT3 has been here. It is disappointing, but understood if (big if) he is looking for some "help."
