I have been quiet on this as I just wanted to process this and wow just another bad mark on the program and now we went from having a small chance to finish 6th or 7th and make the tournament to likely 10th place. I was very excited going into this season and wanted Ewing to succeed, but there are only so many bad eggs before you gotta question the hen. I don't want this to fail and I am still going to the games but man I honestly will be surprised Ewing is still around for next season If you think Tre King would make a 3 or 4 place difference in the Big East, well, I can't save you man.

Uhhh Ohhhh. This doesn't look good for Uncle Pat. Teenagers always react positively to Mom or dad telling them what to do!🙄

Can't thank DFW and the other moderators enough for giving us this board to feed our obsessions with Hoya basketball and other matters. Hoya Saxa!

Just came across a reminder of Kobe, after he retired, saying "It's a good thing Allen Iverson wasn't 6'5", or it would have been all over for the league. Pack up and go home". Kobe was never a guy to give compliments to opposing players.

Any updates on Tre? I feel like he might become one of our most important players this year for better or worse. 200%. I think for better. A solid contributor to a good squad.

Garry Wilson - is there something I can't see? Something I don't know? Something I am too old to understand?

He's gotta do better next season it's a must! He will. The young man is developing into a better player piece by piece. I expect a big jump next season.

Once a guy puts on a Hoya uniform, I am his fan; whether or not he leaves for another destination. I want each of them to succeed. These kids are making decisions their maturity level has not prepared them for. I want to see Pickett succeed. I want to see Yurt7 succeed. I want to see Mac succeed. I want to see Paul White, Domingo, Akinjo, Chudie, Kaleb, Leblanc, etc. succeed. I can't understand the need to trash any of them. As a twenty year old, would any of you have been capable of making perfect decisions? I side with Elvado's position - once you choose to leave Georgetown for another school, you are Dead To Me. Not gonna root against you. Not rooting for an injury or other catastrophe. But not rooting for you. I just don't care once you choose not to be a Hoya.

Think we are jumping on Pickett's bandwagon too quickly. He has had two consecutive good games. Two. They were preceded by two not so good games. Heaven knows I hope he keeps up his good string but I've heard this song before. Holding my breath but not overly optimistic. I'd love to see the kid make an NBA team this year, but realistically, my hope is he gets to be a starter for a G League team all year. I think a year of full-time basketball focus, practicing and playing at this level, continuing to gain consistency and work at his game, and having coaches see what he could do will help him. I could even see him being a late year call-up after a solid season, ala Yurtseven. And that could turn into a real shot to make the NBA, ala Yurtseven. Certainly fits the profile of a NBA player if he can gain consistency. 100% agree. A year of actually playing professional ball could do wonders for Morko.

Siena lost its top 3 scorers and returns only 5 guys, totalling 30 points a game. They are often an interesting team, but not sure how "intriguing" it will be this year.

Smart kid. Of course he chose the Hoyas, so that kind of goes without saying.

Did not see this mentioned anywhere - South Carolina announced a home and home with us, first game at the Gamecocks on Dec. 5.
