Yep. One sit-out transfer, one medical transfer, and the '21 non-counting year. And he may be our 10th man right now - him or Grant. Getting old and staying old is a big goal for many staffs Getting old and staying old is my only personal goal at this point😉

I'm gonna hold off on the "great" designation. ND is a down program right now, I would be quite surprised if they are able to make a huge improvement in 2 seasons; let's see if we continue the series after that. Same with Syracuse, a down program in transition. Would love to see continued improvements in our scheduling, let's see how we schedule OOC a couple of years from now. Cuse has a chance to be really good this year as their starting backcourt could both be taken in the 1st round next year as well as some 4*s off the bench. Just need a solid frontcourt to be a tournament team so I love playing them this year. TCU will be a tournament team and Notre Dame/Rutgers will at worst be a Quad 2 game. We’ve got a nice OOC schedule for us to win some games. Hoping for a real MTC and then I’ll be real happy. We didn't schedule TCU or Rutgers, they were scheduled for us. Syracuse - a coach without head coaching experience following a legend - not usually a recipe for success.

Just love the way Cooley has approached his time at GU thus far! It all demonstrates that he: Has a plan That plan is to win, restore the program Share the success with a wider community Absolutely.

To be fair, boya breaks no board rules, just provides his own "unique perspective". There is room for all at HoyaTalk. And if it gets too much for someone - well that is why the "ignore" option exists. FYI: "3. Posting repetitive messages with the intent of eliciting negative responses may be subject to post deletion and loss of password privileges." Yes but his messages aren't technically "repetitive", mostly these days he posts about various recruits. Even if it is often done with an agenda.

I know, but a rudimentary glance at the age of the attendees would suggest it was a subset of some sort - Board, big donors, longtime members, etc. They knew it was not the entire supporters club, just wanted to take any opportunity to take shots at Cooley.
You can relate to that 😉

I love the comments from bitter Provy fans. Apparently they are not intelligent enough to get that it was only the Hoops Club Board, not the whole club.

The thing is now that we have a legit coach, I don't worry as much about the individual talents of any one player/recruit. The key is how it all fits together. And yes someone's desire to be here and the commitment to being all-in is obviously a big plus. Along with unselfishness and a winning mentality. Don't get me wrong you still need top talent, but I trust Cooley - and staff - has a vision of the final product he wants and how the puzzle pieces fit. Add in the DC buzz as a major intangible. If we get a bunch of DMV kids with that local pride it would be a wonderful thing. Spot on.

A young man who wants very much to be at Georgetown. Just what Cooley is looking for.

It's a reply to Tim Pool in support of LGTBQ youth, this is not the own you think it is and you are showing your ass. If this is your response to us signing a top area kid - to attack their parents - maybe you should reconsider what you are doing here. This dude has been going out of his way to try and trash Williams for a couple of weeks now. Really weird stuff. When Cooley brings us a national title, the first post on HoyaTalk will be boya telling us that Cooley will not have justified his exorbitant contract until he wins two titles.

This is good news right? If he went to Nova this would be a 10 page thread of folks whining. Don't get this board... We all suffer from PPETSD.

Asham will start at point guard and be a solid starter this year. He is very skilled and can shoot the 3. Use either hand well. I think he will really help Hoyas this year. We will do better than people think I predict 18-13 record. 9-11 in big east. Hoyas on way back. I’ll have what he’s having…. Don't do it 'vad. At our age we have already lost enough brain cells, no need to dabble in substances that will obliterate more.

Well players can jump from school to school for the NIL money, coaches can jump for millions, just let schools jump without exit fees. New conference alignments every season!

If you look on the on3 page that YOU linked, it gives each guys on3 ranking AND the "industry" average. Is it possible you did not see that?? You seem to be all over these things, and took the time to emphasize that the on3 for Sorber was much better than the average. Yes, it's an On3 article saying that Sorber is rated higher on their site than the industry average. It talks about a dozen guys or so like that - since Sorber is a Hoyas recruit, that's why I linked it. There is not an article like that about Mulready, so there is nothing to link about him. Get how that works? Article about Hoya recruit = link provided. No article about Hoya recruit = nothing to link. Yet you saw the industry average for Mulready was a lower rating and made no mention of it; with Sorber you not only linked the article, you thought it necessary to independently list the other rankings. No coincidence methinks.

So strange that this poster would not think to include that Is there an article specifically about that like the one that includes Sorber?
