This team sucks without Tyler. TC might be the glue that holds it all together.
III need to start coaching like his job is on the line.

It's actually a joke. My friends and I laugh at Macklin's jumper cause his form is atrocious. Seriously, watch him during warmups. Like, I wish he was better and I guess I feel bad laughing but come on now, you'd think a top 10 recruit would have a decent j and it is funny.

Okay, we're not going to start screaming about the coaching this quickly, are we? I understand the frustration, but we're not that fair weather, right?

Heck no. If it means running suicides till they get it right, III will make it happen. I don't see this as a coaching issue so much as a motivation issue.

While it's true that we need shooters, we also need the team to support each other. We can't rely on Green and Hibbert to hold us up every night, the younger ones need to step it up too. Everyone needs to take some leadership at some point on this team.

I just don't think it's already time to start ripping on JTIII. He knows he's got his work cut out for him. I have faith.

Agreed that the whole team shouldn't hinge on those two, but Roy and Jeff should be able to at least combine for more than 9 points and 11 boards in a combined 63 minutes.

The coach has to take some responsibility for the poor performance thus far...I dont think recruiting is necessarly the problem, but clearly the team has not come out ready to play in the majority of the games thus far, and that is a reflection of the coaching.

I don't see this as a coaching issue. I feel like the team has gotten a very big ego based on some pre-season rankings and a couple nice articles about recruiting this summer.
At media day we had a few guys talkin National Championship. I like the confidence, but that doesn't sould like they were very well grounded. Maybe these two losses will hit the team and make them realize they need the same level of work and effort as last year.
JTIII was the cautious one from what I remember. He needs to get it into this teams head that nothing's gonna be given to them, but I definitely don't think this is exclusively a coaching issue.

I think some of our consistent problems - overswitching on defense, confusion when we fall behind and need to pick up the pace, and lack of adjustment to our players' strengths on offense - do fall partly on the coaching staff. They need to do a better job, as do the players.

Was JTIII trying out different lineups? I saw the ESPN highlights and the tallest Duck looked at least 6 inches shorter than Roy. If we don't dominate rebounds against much smaller teams with our frontcourt, something is wrong with our players or the coaching. We outrebounded Oregon by just 3 rebounds!!!!!!!!!!!
A Duke win will change all... Most of us will get to see the team for the first time. I'll bet that the team will get up for that game. For whatever reason I think we are an on/off team depending on the opponent. We'll see Saturday.

I reaaaaaaally hope we rise above the play-to-the-level-of-the-opponent. I don't think my heart can take it.
