Best I can reckon, Abel is now 4th on the Georgetown outdoor charts, between Jack Salisbury and a fella named John Gregorek (I believe these were updated in January 2024) 1. 3:34.95 Steve Holman 08/11/1992 Monte Carlo 2. 3:35.22 Chris Lukezic 07/22/2005 London 3. 3:35.34 John Gregorek 06/26/1982 Bislett-Oslo 4. 3:37.18 Jack Salisbury 05/26/2021 NCAA East Prelims guhoyas.com/sports/2024/1/25/2023-24-mens-outdoor-track-records.aspx

I think she was still feeling the 100000m in her legs. Her splits DNF 15 Chloe SCRIMGEOUR 36.77 [36.77] 1:53.50 [1:16.74] 3:04.72 [1:11.22] 4:16.82 [1:12.11] 5:28.50 [1:11.68] 6:45.06 [1:16.57] 8:02.20 [1:17.14] 9:19.13 [1:16.94] 10:36.68 [1:17.55] 11:54.45 [1:17.78] 100,000 meters would test anyone's legs (I know Nevada, a senior moment, you are excused).

Thank you, FrazierF, usually you learn to count in kindergarden, which I cannot do.

It took barely two laps before the coverage broke away to interview the Mens Decathlon champ (who is a cool guy and I like him a lot BUT). How does "the worldwide leader in sports" not have split screen capabilities in coverage? To close out my annoyed rant, NBC's live coverage of the Trials goes to split screen for ads and field event updates during distance races.
