I was totally wrong about him not being a lead guard.
He went from reminding me a lot of Jamal Crawford to reminding me a lot of Kyrie in terms of craftiness.

"In just 10 AAU games this season, he’s averaging 15 points, 3.5 boards, and 3.5 assists. Those numbers are pretty much a mirror image of what he did during his junior season this year at Sidwell, which led him to get named Gatorade Player of the Year for Washington D.C... Which schools are heavily involved in your recruitment? “Georgetown, Syracuse, Michigan, Virginia, and Maryland.” Any newer schools? “Louisville, Kansas, Ole Miss, Kentucky, West Virginia.” What are your thoughts on your new Louisville offer and the coaching staff? “Loved how Coach Kelsey was during his time at Charleston, he put a battery in his guys' back and lets his guards rock. I think he will surprise a couple of people with this job. Louisville despite the past couple of years is a legendary school with a lot of history which includes many great guards.” How about Kentucky and have you talked with that staff yet? “A school with an amazing legacy. They’ve been known to take the most elite guards and get them to the NBA. Also really strong that an alum like Coach Pope can come back and get the job. Interested to see how this first year goes, especially since he’s done a good job recruiting.” Where do things stand with Georgetown? “Still have a great relationship with them despite Coach Ivan leaving. Cooley and I spoke a lot and as I’ve said I have faith he will turn stuff around.” Any plan as for visits or not yet? “Haven’t really figured that out yet, I have a lot going on with EYBL and stuff. Going to get out to Michigan and Syracuse for sure at some point.” stockrisers.com/s/531/acaden-lewis-blossoming-into-potential-five-star-recruit

The game against Gonzaga in the DC Championship semi he was amazing to watch. Great vision, handles, movement is insanely smooth, passing insanely well, but also getting to the basket and shooting outside. He was the best on the court by a long shot.

"Four-star guard Acaden Lewis is exploding on the recruiting scene... “It’s pretty crazy to think about where I was and just how things have grown,” said Lewis, who is ranked No. 105 in the Rivals 150. “My dad and my mom have taught me to really appreciate the blessings and work hard. I transferred schools and kept working, and now I have 26 offers.”... Lewis has already taken official visits to Virginia and Florida State and unofficials to Georgetown, Penn State and Virginia Tech. Like most elite prospects, Lewis’ summer is jam-packed with events, but the 6-foot-2 floor general said he wants to take visits to Louisville, Connecticut, Syracuse and Michigan, among others... “I feel like the line between combo guard and point guard are blurred, but I definitely want to run the point in college,” Lewis said. “Most of the schools recruiting me want me as a point guard and some want me as a point guard who can play off the ball. “I think I’ll cut my list by late June or early July. By that time, everyone will have had the chance to see me. I don’t know when I’ll decide; just whenever it’s the right time. I’m not rushing anything.” basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/four-star-guard-acaden-lewis-is-exploding-on-the-recruiting-scene

Now that Acaden has the attention of all of the big boys it's imperative that we do 2 things: recruit him as if he's priority 1 and show some major improvements on the court......I believe Cooley and Co still have a good shot but they must show him more love than the other programs....and man I hope Acaden has a close bond with Caleb.

"In the first game of the day for me, the Rockets took on the Heat in a game featuring star high school players in Brayden Burries, Jerry Easter, Malachi Moreno, Acaden Lewis, Sebastian Wilkins, Jason Crowe, Sam Funches and many more. It didn't take long but the Rockets led by Moreno, Lewis, Burries and Moustapha Diop quickly sprang out and took control of the game resulting in a dominant victory. Those four all shined in their own ways starting with Lewis coming away as the MVP of this game. His dynamic ball skills and scoring ability created opportunities for himself and others time and time again. He drilled shots from three, got in the paint, finished around the rim and was efficient in his production. Lewis tied a game-high 23 points while adding five-rebounds and five assists, shooting 9-of-12 from the field... Coaches in attendance for this game included: Jon Scheyer, Hubert Davis, Bruce Pearl, Dan Hurley, Bobby Hurley, Dana Altman, Arkansas, UCLA,Mike Woodson, Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Texas, Tennessee,Virginia Tech, Baylor, Kevin Keatts, Jake Diebler, Creighton, Northwestern, Florida, Kentucky, Virginia and Louisville." 247sports.com/college/basketball/recruiting/article/nbpa-top100-camp-tuesday-morning-standouts-and-coach-tracker-malachi-moreno-acaden-lewis-brayden-burries-moustapha-diop-deron-rippey-jamarion-batemon-kareem-stagg-232765427/

More love?! Show him the $$$$! I feel like that's a given....plus each school can do that....but since we need him more than the bluebloods we should act accordingly.

How much NIL do you offer Lewis as a frosh when you’re already paying big $ to senior Epps and junior Mack? Plus have sophomore Mulready already in the rotation…

Is GU no longer mentioned by the media or did GU not go to one of the most important recruiting camps?

Plus have sophomore Mulready already in the rotation… I don't think that you have to get in a bidding war unless he blows up to 5* status this summer. I don't know what a 4* fr should get but I start right below that number and negotiate within reason. I'm hoping we win this recruitment by building a relationship with the staff, showing a program moving in the right direction, having a major market in his hometown, and having a close friend already on the team.
