What a terrible turn of events for all of those teams and players that were going to be in the conference and NCAA tournaments. Uncharted territory. But I just feel for all those who won’t get a chance to compete.

It would be really nice for our seniors to get an extra year. Next year's team looks a lot different with those guys back.

Glue guys like ours would be more apt to stay. Someone like Powell who should’ve left last year isn’t sticking around for another year...

I don’t want any of the BE seniors back. Powell, Howard, Baldwin et al. owned us throughout their careers. I’m happy to see them out the door. Let’s see how those teams manage without them. Powell and Howard would leave because they can make alot of money in the NBA. That's the beauty of this, we could entice Terrell Allen and Jagan to come back and they would dominate as 5th, 6th year seniors while NBA guys like Powell/Howard would have to leave.

The ones who are NBA picks will leave for sure even if granted another year.

Why would they have to leave? Howard could easily come back and make his assault on 3,000 career points. Same for Diallo and Baldwin. And if everyone except Yurtseven comes back, where does Georgetown finish? 7th?

You dont think Howard and Poweell will be in the NBA? Who knows what will happen. They could return or leave like they could have this season. What I know is that I don’t want to see them play GU again because they have our number. They love playing Pat’s defense because they can have career games.

You dont think Howard and Poweell will be in the NBA? Tough one. What position would they play and does their game really translate. I think the right system and the right tie could be excellent for these guys. The right coach, the perfect system and an excellent fit would change everything. Of course, you could say that about most players but I think it really applies to these two. Howard isn't really fast and is not a good defender. Powell is a better defender and seems to have the quickness, but he doesn't have a great position. He's small for the NBA. I think both could be studs, but I also think both could be G-Leaguers who will be known, much like Psycho T, as "excellent college players."

While this probably wouldn’t be to our benefit as Powell (has already tweeted about coming back) and who knows about Howard, Baldwin etc.
Jagan Mosely and Terrell are so deserving of a march run, with both of them back and some wing depth behind Jamorko (kobe, jamari). Some depth at guard (beard, Harris), possibly adding a shooter in Walton or Brandon Murray?? Assuming Mac is back healthy and Blair back into a sixth man role, we’d be solidly suited to make it to March.
Problem is I think this would really hurt our chances at Frankie Collins and I think he will be the next great Hoya PG if he comes here. seems a real toss up kinda situation for the Hoyas, but man I’d love to see jagan and Terrell back in blue and grey, those guys are leaders of men.

But Psycho T was a 1st round pick (13th overall) and played 7 years in the NBA. Crappy NBA player but made good bank. The NBA minimum is $582,000 a year. NBA roster is 17 players. They could never start or see minutes but as long as they make an NBA team they are sitting pretty and staying an extra year would be a huge opportunity cost.
