You called me out for asking questions and not providing answers, and now in multiple posts you’ve failed to provide these supposed answers. The reason is obvious—the “answers” don’t satisfactorily answer the questions. There is absolutely no logical reason to give every player (or even just every senior) an entire year of eligibility because 68 out of 300+ teams didn’t get to play in the NCAA (call it 100 if you want to include the NIT). Half of the teams in the tournament lose in the first round. This would mean giving hundreds of players an entire year because a small subset of them missed out on one NCAA game and maybe 2-3 games in their league tournaments. As others have pointed out, Georgetown had already completed its season by losing in the BET before the cancelation came down. Our guys did not miss a single game due to the virus. The same is true of all of the smaller-conference teams who lost in their league tournaments before the postseason was canceled. We would've played in the just as important CBI so they have to include us. Our postseason was just beginning. *At least that's what you say on the off chance that the NCAA only gives eligibility to those who would've played in the postseason despite them not doing a bracket reveal*

These guys are running a tourney live simulation (PS4 - shown on YouTube), keeping the normal tourney schedule. Started yesterday, games throughout the day. They had a selection show before it all started. It's pretty ridiculous to watch in its entirety, but there's something about the realism of it all (CBS/TNT music, Kevin Harlan/Greg Anthony/Ernie/Kenny/Shaq, court designs, cheerleaders/fight songs, crowds) that's very satisfying. When there's not a single drop of live sports on... I think if we had actually made this, I'd make a point of watching our game in full.
