Blair's got no fear. Has that Jessie Sapp attack mode mentality. Much better than Reggie Cameron.

Sodom has a long way to go. Needs to keep his arms and hands up to utilize his 7-3.

Final Thoughts:
Parts of this game felt lethargic once the Hoyas got the lead to double digits. Kaleb Johnson lead the team with scoring 18pts, 5/10 FG's, 7/8 FT's Govan, Derrickson, Blair, Mulmore scored in double digits also with 16, 12, 11, 10 The team cut back the turnovers to 12 and had 13 assists
Final Grade: A
A 21 point victory in a game where the Hoyas was never threatened. The offense continues to hum along especially vs lesser opponents Defensively Maine was held to 37% from the field

Plus/minus for tonight's game, as calculated from the Gametracker play-by-play posted online at guhoyas.com:
Johnson +22, Govan +21, Derrickson +19, Blair +11, Mosely +11, Pickett +10, Mulmore +9, Dickerson +5, Hines -1, Muresan -1, Sodom -1, Walker DNP/ill.

Again, some encouraging play by Mulmore and Caleb.
Otherwise pretty much a "Meh" considering the opposition. They were not good and very slow.

Not exactly a game whose recorded version should be placed in a time capsule.
Then again, it is a win.

They out-rebounded us (32-30) and had more blocks (5-4)

Sodom has a long way to go. Needs to keep his arms and hands up to utilize his 7-3. He seems to prefer to creep behind guys and try to surprise guys with his length for blocks. Needs to work on staying infront of his man and keeping his hands up for that, then can sneak up in help defense.

Quick thoughts:
- I think this was easily our worst performance of the season. We weren’t operating well as a unit, we were sloppy, and the effort wasn’t there.
- On effort, our guys came out pretty well but seemed to get complacent once they built a lead. Maine is not a good team. It was way too close.
Ewing: “I was disappointed in our effort tonight,” Ewing said. “We’ve been playing very well, but tonight we took a step backward. Nothing against Maine. They’re an outstanding ballclub. They’re very well-coached, but we just didn’t do all the things that we were doing well.”
- Pickett had a really poor game. I can think of at least three really bad turnovers.
- Our defense continues to have huge holes allowing opposing guards to drive in. I hate to think what it’ll be like when we face an opponent that’s not bottom 50.
- Announced attendance was overs 4,000 but it certainly seemed like less.
- Not to beat the dead horse but tonight was a good illustration where these cupcake games have little to no value. Little entertainment value for fans and the players don’t get any sort of challenge.
Ewing basically said we played bad and we still won by 20. There’s excitement right there.
And just think, we’ve got three more opponents worse than Maine.
