4Ever, I think you mean you are so happy for Cameron; unfortunately Campbell didn't play today. This..... (Stupid auto fill)

Don't forget, Miami lost to FGCU early in 2012-13 and won the ACC. Is it too much to hope that we just found out Radford is a team capable of making tourney noise a la FGCU and we just found that out in the first game? Yes. It is too much to hope. Since beating us they got blown out by VCU and lost today ccomfortably to Siena (who is now 1-2.). Come March, after we've taken care of business this regular season, and won the BET, that November loss to Radford will mean little.

One of the best things about this win is that I think that I will be able to see it on the ESPN archives! Still wish Fox would archive too. Yeah I already watched the Maryland game twice. It hurts more and more everytime to see how close we were.

We need Tre to be able to play some minutes on sunday or it will be really tough. Especially vs VCU's havoc. Did Tre even make the trip?

Clutch shooting from Isaac and clutch free throws from Govan. Very impressive. Still concerned that we can't guard quickness on the perimeter man-to-man, but we'll see.

Govan, Reggie and Ike played well tonight. DSR and Peak showed up late. Not a great night for Hayes who could not shoot or rebound against their bigs. Same true for Derrickson. Kudos for the coach playing with the hot players down the stretch. DSR really needs to relax. The more he pressed the worse he played. This team is gaining invaluable experience. Tonight Copeland played like a star in the second half. Solid defense all night and added offense in the second half. Govan unbelievably poised as a freshman playing in MSG for the first time. Cameron belongs both on offense and defense.

Not to quibble - but I believe Mr. Govan has played in MSG before.

Govan's a New Yorker so he was right at home. Duke will be tough. Allen and Jones are solid guards.

You would not know from the game thread that we won by 10, leading wire to wire, despite missing two key rotation members, over a team that is always well coached and good. Yes, Wisconsin is not as good as last year, but they aren't chopped liver. If I had just read the in game comments, I'd expect we lost, and pretty badly.
Anyway, big game for Cameron, Peak for shutting down Koenig, another sneaky good game from Cope (except the turnovers), Govan down the stretch. I think people forget that while Wisconsin may not be up to their usual stuff, Koenig and Hayes are very good, they usually never turn the ball over (and we turned them over), they usually kill people on the boards (and they killed us but Hayes didn't play much) and that we won.
Anyone realize we won? By 10? In a game I don't think we were favored in?

Excellent riding of the hot hands by coach today. I thought that was a very encouraging sign. You're going to earn your minutes each game.
I also thought the on the ball defense was much better. Not great. But much better. God, the zone is bad though. Especially out of bounds.

Very good and much needed win. Loved to see the contributions from so many guys particularly with DSR having an off game. Really impressed with Cameron, Govan and Johnson stepping up. Cameron looks like he's in the best shape of his Hoyas career. Govan's touch from the line is so soft and that's a huge quality for a big man. Johnson is an absolute steal as a late spring recruit, he's got pro potential. Huge plays down the stretch from Peak and Copeland was shooting with cojones in the second half.
Thought the coaching staff did a great job scouting Wisconsin and was nice to see some strong plays coming out of timeouts.
Overall, a terrific team win. Playing with house money on Sunday against a Duke team that I think is terribly overrated at #5.

I don't think he's lazy (well maybe that time, but not most of the time), I think he needs to squeeze the ball tighter. He was referring to that one time... I figured that, but I posted that just as we was stripped, again, after that one.
