Different group of contributors today. That's a win-win. We'll need every one of these guys to be able to step up and make big plays this season. Will make us a challenging team to play.
I thought Peak was an unsung hero running the point with DSR struggling.

DSR just had Hayes trapped, ran away, and let him spin to the hoop for the and 1. Sheesh. Yeah that might of been the worst defensive mistake of the whole half and it came from our most experienced player. I feel like they are sleep walking. No energy or enthusiasm. Just awful basketball. Then Hayes throws the ball out f bounds to start the 2nd half. Cameron didn't cover down low on that play so DSR had to try to rush back to cover the guy under the basket.

That was Coplenad being lazy. He had the ball just lost awareness I don't think he's lazy (well maybe that time, but not most of the time), I think he needs to squeeze the ball tighter. He was referring to that one time...

I hope that Radford loss was just a hiccup. The Wisco win and the close loss to the twerps, I am hoping, define us this year. Beat Puke or VCU!

If you told me a few weeks ago that Bradley and Reggie would be the key players this season I wouldn't have believed you. It is nice to see so many players involved and contributing. Once DSR gets on track I'm hopeful we can make a nice run in the Big East.

Don't forget, Miami lost to FGCU early in 2012-13 and won the ACC. Is it too much to hope that we just found out Radford is a team capable of making tourney noise a la FGCU and we just found that out in the first game?

Really great game by lots of folks. The freshmen played like veterans and the sophomores played like leaders. Subpar game from the seniors but it didn't hurt. Big win!

Since beating us they got blown out by VCU and lost today ccomfortably to Siena (who is now 1-2.).

Our FT defense was not so good today, but Wisco's was worse. Nice to see a big who can shoot FTs (Jessie, 6-6).

You're probably right, but I'll keep my hopes up that it could still be true.

Final Thoughts:
1. Reggie Cameron had his best game of his career and carried the Hoyas to a 5pt lead in the 1st half with
14pts, 2rebs, 2 stls, 2 assts. (5/7 FG's, 4/6 3pt FG's)
2. Issac Copeland helped Gtown outscore Wisconsin in the 2nd half 44-39
15 pts, 6 rebs, 1 stl (5/9 Fg's, 3/4 3pt FG's, 2/2 Ft/s)
3. Georgetown never trailed in the game and never had a tie score except when the score was 0-0 Very, very solid win. Wisconsin is a Final Four team from last year and this was good showing. Time will tell how good Wisconsin is, but for now, you could not have aske for a better win than a 10pt victory over the Badgers on national t.v. @ MSG. The only negative is 11 Assts vs 14 T.O.'s
Grade: A
The 1st half was shaky for both teams, but the Hoyas managed to weather the scoring drought and end both halves with a 5pt lead advantage and a 10pt victory....onto Duke.

One of the best things about this win is that I think that I will be able to see it on the ESPN archives! Still wish Fox would archive too.

They scour the recruiting board looking for the ones that got away.

It has been rough not having Paul and Tre coupled with foul problems for DSR and, today, Hayes. Great effort from the bench today. Hopefully, the extended minutes pay dividends for those guys. While I know that freshmen tend to get less "love" from the refs, it really looked like Kaleb got absolutely mugged a few times. Tip of the cap to him for not pouting and giving it his all throughout. Very mature and pretty rare in today's college game. Well done, Hoyas!

I LOVE THE MAKEUP AND POTENTIAL OF THIS TEAM. SO MANY WAYS FOR JT3 & STAFF TO SKIN THE CAT THIS SEASON. Reggie Cameron locked up their Hayes in the second half by plying straight up and moving feet. Yes I said Reggie Cameron played great defense on the other teams best player by moving his feet. A year ago I would have never said that about Reggie. This team won tonite with their 2 leading scorers (coming into this game) on the bench for most of the 2nd half and 2 players who could arguably start for this team in White & Campbell not available to play. This team will be hard to scout come January and figure out how to stop based on all the lineup combinations and weapons this team has. Already in only 3 games, this team has 7 different players who have scored in double figures in a game. We know that both PW and Campbll have that ability as well. I'm so happy for Campbell. Half way through his freshman year, I didn't think he could play at this level because of lack of foot speed and lateral quickness. I thought he was a very one dimensional player. He has improved his body tremendously and plays very hard. He really did a great job on a future NBA player in Nigel Hayes. Govan just has to get stronger when fighting for those rebounds. Keep them high tight when he gets his paws on them. Also Govan and Hayes have to kick the ball back out once in a while and repost. They will get better position and easier shots. Copeland played how he is expected to playing the 2nd half. DSR, PW and Hayes rest up we will need you on Sunday.

4Ever, I think you mean you are so happy for Cameron; unfortunately Campbell didn't play today.

Even if that's the case, you either go and double team the ball or you don't. You can't get caught in no mans land. You have to double and force the ball out or for him to use his dribble to escape. You can't worry about what's going on behind you when you come to double team. You gotta trust your teammates to rotate and help. DSR doubled low and Govan was defending the high side. When DSR just leaves the Double team on the ball while he still has his dribble he leaves Govan in awful defensive position.
