Currently watching Jeremiah Rivers trainwreck on Big 10 network. He is playing atrociously on offense with bad turnovers. Probably should consider shaving that beard too. What a stupid decision to transfer. Actually, considering he has had 3 seasons to improve and hasn't, I'm glad he left our team. Therefore, what a smart decision to transfer. This.

Are you kidding me Jook? The USF game terrifies me! Well played, smarty pants, well played. Couldn't resist. You are right, I will be tremendously disappointed if our bench does not get alot of run against USF.

I assume we're rooting for Pitt here in order to put Villanova two games back of us in the standings (including the tie-breaker).

It doesn't really matter who wins. Pragmatically you're right. But I kinda want Nova to win to make the Big East race interesting. Sure they probably don't drop enough games for us to catch them, but it could still happen.

Syracuse board is fantastic right now. Good exchange on that board: "This team has no balls," moans one Syracuse poster. "If they had balls," answers another, "Scoop would throw them away."

Erin Andrews just called out the entire Pavilion for being lame and quiet. Just awesome.

If Pitt's a better team than Nova, I want another shot at Pitt.

If Pitt's a better team than Nova, I want another shot at Pitt. Pitt just waltzed into the on-campus gym of a ranked opponent and dominated them. That final score is not indicative of the degree of control Pitt exerted over all aspects of that game. Oh yeah, they didn't have their leading scorer and preseason first team big east star. They are awfully tough.

I also want another shot at pitt.
Nova was with out their best player as well so the teams were at even strength. Winning at someone's place generally means you're a better team.

Yeah, but it also means we're not that far off from Pitt, since we won at Nova too. Nova was an idiot tech from that punk Armwood from stealing that game despite not having their two best players for the last 5 minutes of the game and their third hobbled since the opening half.
I disagree completely that Pitt controlled that entire game. It was there for the taking for Nova, but they missed a bunch of bunnies that they normally make (missed layups, missed dunks), and they added up. Just one of those games for them.
With our re-commitment to the defensive end, if we get any perimeter shooting from our big 3 and Hollis, we are going to get Pitt if we see them again.

Pitt without Ashton Gibbs is a different animal. Nova loses less without their top guys. Mouph, BTW, is gonna be pretty darn good. However, this Nova team makes more bad decisions than any iteration of Nova teams in Wright's tenure as far as I've seen. Yeah Cheek... I'm looking at you.

Yeah, it seems like the Pavillon thing backfired on Nova. Didnt they intentionally move the game there? 6,500 just isnt a lot of folks if its not a rabid fan base that's always playing on campus. I didnt realize the freaking Kohl Center holds 18,000 fans. I know Verizon is the same, but it's an on-campus, student arena. No wonder they never lose there.

Apparently not a lot going on in Madison in the winter (kind of like Cuse).
