Tough win by Louisville today. Syracuse is totally undisciplined. Ref did a great job of letting Boeheim rant without T-ing him up. Contrast the rant w/ the T called on Kuric against ND here: What a joke. I hate the latitude refs give coaches. |

In basketball news, UNC routed BenedictArnoldCollege last night, 106-74, in front of a non-sellout crowd of 7883. I guess the second most famous team in the ACC isn't a draw on the Heights any more... Not sure if that number is for ticket sales or people in seats, but one could defend BC fans by pointing to the miserable weather. I know I would not have been going out to Newton to watch that game last night, even if the tickets were free. Today it's 39 degrees, the sun is out, the roads are clear, and Maryland is in town for a must-win game for BOTH teams' NCAA tournament chances. Conte Forum has perhaps 7,500 fans there (capacity 8,606). What's the excuse now? |

I liked the one Cuse fan who was complaining about always playing 5 on 7. Hate when only two of the refs decide to call everything against you. Why can't the NCAA / BE get officiating crews that are all on the same page? |

Currently watching Jeremiah Rivers trainwreck on Big 10 network. He is playing atrociously on offense with bad turnovers. Probably should consider shaving that beard too. What a stupid decision to transfer.
