Whether anyone on this board believes it or not, Tiger showing up at the masters will make it the SUPER Major tourney of the year. TV ratings will blow through the roof. The Masters' sponsors will be delighted and grateful. And.. despite what many think, my belief is he'll be the odds on favorite of any individual in the tournament. People will be betting TIGER or THE FIELD.
Personally, I think he really does NOT want to lose his family and has gone to great lengths to get a shot at getting them back... I don't think the deal has been sealed there. And I think he will not take any chances in that regard for the foreseeable future.
one more thing, given that EVERYONE in the world knows what went on, it will not be possible for Tiger to have a dalliance, discreet or otherwise. Any girl could immediately go to the National Enquirer, get a Book Deal, go on Oprah, or whatever else. Tiger has sealed his own fate at this point.
I hope for his sake and for his family's that things work out for them all.

I could care less about what Tiger Woods did. I don't really care what John Edwards did either, as I've seen that on TV a lot recently too.
I don't know Tiger Woods personally. I am a fan of Tiger Woods the golfer, not the person. Granted, it makes it easier to be a fan of an athlete if he seems like a good person, and Tiger definitely did seem like that before this scandal. But everyone makes mistakes, and it seems like he is handling this in the best way I can imagine anyone handling a similar situation.
I will be rooting for him hard in the Masters. Ratings will be insane. I wonder what the reaction on the course will be like. I'm extremely happy that he will be playing again at Augusta. It is good for him, and it is good for golf.

I'm just glad they killed the wizard alien who caused all of the sex addiction ... now Tiger can golf in peace.

Personally, I don't think he can win it. I don't think he has a chance (though I don't think he'll play so poorly as to, say, miss the cut or anything like that). But I'm sure he'll prove me wrong. Now, my question is, what's the over/under on how long it takes one of the current players to go all "Shooter McGavin" on the media when they incessantly ask questions about Tiger Woods in every tournament leading up to the Masters.

Probably a very long time considering the Tour and the other players need Tiger more than Tiger needs them. If they're smart, they'll just shut up and play as I'm sure Tiger will do. Viewership is down somewhere in the neighborhood of 40% or more depending on reports. You never Edited on the guy that brings all of the liquor to the party every week.

So because there were other women it was wrong? Poor, naive, adult woman. Zzzzzzzz. It's funny that these people come out whining about how bad a guy Tiger is and it was wrong for him to sleep with [insert name here] (as if we hadn't heard) when all they're really doing is pointing out how scummy they are themselves.

From the article:
Haha, Tiger Woods is my hero. From the picture, she looks cute, too.
Anyways, I don't really care anymore. Tiger did some bad , and he has admitted he has done some bad . Can we please just move on?

Yes, in many ways the article reminds me very much of this all-time classic Point-Counterpoint from The Onion: www.theonion.com/articles/european-men-are-so-much-more-romantic-than-americ,11552/

Anyways, I don't really care anymore. Tiger did some bad Edited, and he has admitted he has done some bad Edited. Can we please just move on? Part of me hopes that Tiger will tank this weekend at the Masters. And at his next tournament. And the tourney after that. Then, an epiphany: banging all these ho's was the source of his awesomeness! He starts back up on his bimbo-a-day diet and finally completes the grand slam next year and everyone realizes that these public morality plays are absolutely ridiculous.

Looks like the Masters will have good ratings tomorrow with the Mickelson-Tiger showdown potentially looming.

Tiger's score in the final round is slightly unfortunate under the circumstances.

I'm happy that the guy who loves his wife and kids won. Just sayin'. Yeah, that Lee Westwood is quite the cad. And Anthony Kim probably doesn't even have a wife and kids, so what kind of golfer could he really be? Yet - how do we really know who loves his wife and kids? 6 months ago we all thought Tiger did, too.

That was meant to be a joke, Jack. Why so serious? Phil also swears a lot less than Tiger though, so that's another reason to root for him. Damn foul language!
