Was at Aronimink for Friday's rounds of AT&T National. At mid-day, about 7500 people there of whom 2500 seemed to be following Tiger. Striking the ball well but his putter was no help. He struggled to make the cut. The crowd very encouraging with a lot of smiles and "thank you's" back from Woods. I think golf needs/wants him back.
Spent the afternoon with about 50 people following then contender Nick Watney on the back nine.
Not sure how well the tournament did-would be nice to get a PGA event back to Philly. The 2013 US Open is a long time away.

Yeah, what was the deal with that tourney being in Philly? I thought that was a D.C. tourney. Does it move around and I just wasn't paying attention?

Yeah, what was the deal with that tourney being in Philly? I thought that was a D.C. tourney. Does it move around and I just wasn't paying attention? Urban told them to move it from DC to Philly. Actually, Congressional is hosting the US Open next year, so they moved it to Aronimink this year and next. It returns to Congressional in 2012.
