I'm sorry but you can't lose Summers and expect to be the same team tonight. If Duke lost Singler they would be in trouble.

if confidence wasn't an issue before - it certainly is now. i only heard the game - but it didn't sound like we played terribly. yes we had some TOs yes we missed some shots. but all in all it didn't sound like a crazy terrible game. we just didn't win. that is was scares me the most.

Regardless if Summers played or not in the second half. This should have been a very winnable game. When is somebody going to step up and lead this team to a victory. This team has no fire what so ever. Pretty embarrasing for a Georgetown team. I'm sick and tired of hearing we are a young team. There is plenty of talent out there to compete with the rest of the league.

Coaches during the timeout with about 46 seconds remaing: "Lets run another slow moving, time consuming princeton set. Austin, I want you to launch a deep, contested three. I mean, we don't have any McD's all americans who can get to the rim whenever they want, or post up and dominate...so another awful three ball is a good plan, break."

Considering that we lost Dajuan, i thought we didn't play too bad. At least down the stretch we tried to get the ball down low. Greg had some turnovers and Freeman missed a somewhat bunny. Cincy has some players. They hit some big shots.

Something is very wrong. What happened to Summers? Did not hear the game?

The Key play was when down by two Freeman lazily tried to save the ball out of bounds off a Cincy turnover/or missed FT and then threw it right to Cincy.
Something is wrong with that guy this year. I noticed it from the beginning of the season.

Has JT3 lost the locker room or something? (Don't answer that, BTW, it's rhetorical.)
This team has the feeling of a squad that has mental problems right now, not physical skill or ability.

We had one good offensive stretch in the first 6 minutes of the 2nd half. Rest of the game was, as usual, pathetic.
I really can't figure out how Freeman's jumper turned into Jansen's.

Hustle was better, rebounding was better. Defense was generally better. On offense, its a disaster. Outside shooting is just really, really poor. Even open looks are punishing the rims. Monroe had his worst game in a Hoyas uniform...his reliance on his left hand turned him into a turnover machine late in the game. Wright was out of control often, but sometimes the shots went in...he is making no one better right now though. Nikita and Wattad, bless their hearts, are simply not major contributors on a top team. Sapp was a bit invisible. Summers only had 7 pts! Sims/Vaughn didn't get much run.
Nova lost a bunch in a row last year, and was able to squeak in and then make a run. Its hard to imagine, but I guess it always is when you are at the depths.

wow,
I hoped we'd be able to pull it out. This losing streak is just numbing. Just numbing

Summers got hurt. Rolled an ankle midway through the first. Chris threw him an alley op which got contested (no foul called) and then Summers rolled it when he came down.

Monroe was turning the ball over like it was his job tonight.

4-16 from 3. do these guys make these all the time in practice because it is insanity that we continue to do something that is clearly not working. and we're not just missing. we're missing bad. somethings stinks.
