Gold i agree completely. Greg just has no right hand game period. teams are finally taking advantage and overplaying. cant put it on the floor to his right cant spin to his right cann barely make a layup with his right. Ive been saying this for a month now. When you go up strong from the right side and use your left hand it usually coming back with little chance of drawing a foul.

Reading this thread and others, you could make a 20-page list of what ails the teams--its missed layups, its Monroe not playing tough, its not getting it to Monroe enough, its defense, its missed threes, its too many threes, its too much reserve minutes, its not enough Sims, Sapp should start, Sapp should be benched, Wright is a great shooter missing shots, Wright should never be shooting, Freeman is lazy, Freeman is in a slump, the coach is using the wrong rotations, the coach shouldn't really rotate at all, we have no heart, we played with plenty of heart but it still wasn't good enough.
The only conclusion I think we can all agree with is that we're in real trouble.

Maybe Gary will get a rematch in the NIT at Cole.

The only conclusion I think we can all agree with is that we're in real trouble. Yes, the team is in trouble. But that presents an opportunity.. for the team to test itself and see who has the character to rise to the occasion. Same thing applies to the fans. Who are the frontrunners, and who are the real fans? Now is your chance to prove which kind of fan you are. GO HOYAS!

Couldn't have said it better, SirSaxa. It's now more than ever that people need to come out and support the guys at home. There's still a LONG WAY to go before this season is over, and until the Selection Show comes on in mid-March and says we're not in, I should hope that both the team as well as the fans should continue to put their all into making it back to the tourney.

I agree Sirsaxa, we all need to sho our support. At this point I would be happy with the team turning it around enough for us to have something to build off of next year. We just need to focus on fixing this, and honestly if they do infact fix what ever is wrong with this team, than almost every other challenge they will face in basketball will seem monumentally easier. If they can somehow work together and figure this all out, they will be a much stronger and expierenced team in future seasons.

SirSaxa, so sorry I missed you at the Rock. I agree with your above comments. You know the fan support has been less than in the previous years. When I went to the Hall game two years ago, there were four bus loads of excited Hoya students. This time, they couldn't fill a bus. The booster bus was worse. The bus holds 44, there were 18 bodies on the bus. At the WVU game theie fans were way louder than ours.
It's time to show up and support our scholarship athletes. They will work it out.

Last June III was saving his scholies for 2010 players. He has got his class of 2009 player on campus. I wouldn't look for any other help next year.

Thing's change. At the rate the team's going, everyone is coming back except Sapp, of course, and Greg. I wouldn't be surprised at one or two more 2009 recruits. This team needs a tremendous attitude change.
