Many already feel Markel is better than Tyler. We'll see on Josh.

"Tough Guy"...r u kidding me. Someone is being sensored for saying they heard a player was a tough guy? What the heck is this board coming to? Tough guy means what exactly? Folks on this board have said worse things about current players, who they don't know personally, yet no one seems to have a problem with that. Oh because they saw them play in person some how that gives them the right to make character judgements about players they don't personally know.

Bosox just kidding i know they play about ten top level programs during the season and i have a world of respect for what Coach Lubick has done in Southborough. Im still amazed the nos of midmajor players that the ISL is turning out or at least developing for 3 or four years before grabbing a pg year. Use to be thse schools turned out 20 to 30 Div Hockey players plus a few pros each year but know they all go Junior level with a prep year or 2 stuck in there somewhere and you have a 21 yearold college freshman. And the milk and cookies was not just a Belmont Hill thing. Lawrence , Groton and St Pauls but thats over 30 years ago. Go sox

That's one helluva "writeup". This is my favorite part: Josh Hairston DC Assault Gold - The Duke bound forward from DC Assault looked showed of his fundamental , get the job done style throughout the tourney. I assume this was translated from the original Mandarin writeup.

yeah harwood--why get involved and antagonize this situation? this board is different. we don't tolerate the 3rd hand info posts about a future Hoya's character. Take that garbarge to MDhigh, rivald, scout, wherever. The moderator has spoken on this subject and people should follow the rules.

was he always ranked #1 for 2010 by NERR or is this something new? I though Odom was ranked ahead of him.

Fair enough Dan, and I understand. Thats why I presented it as un-concretely as possible, but I get the point. I was excited when I heard he was coming here a few months ago, not only because it was kinda cool that I saw a future Hoya back in his sophomore year, but also because I think he does play with a mean streak that we lack (don't yell at me for that- ESPN scouting services agrees). Hopefully that mean streak doesn't get him into foul trouble early in games with dumb fouls like, I don't know, tackling someone at halfcourt (I'm looking at you, DaJuan Blair), but regardless I see him at worst being a third or fourth big man who is solidly in the rotation. I think with a kid who has enough talent (like Lubick does), that the only thing that would hold him back from contributing at all is either a lack of ability to grasp the system of a lack of work ethic- and judging from scouting reports and what I've seen, that doesn't appear to be an issue.

Looks like Nate has a younger brother who's pretty good. When was the last time we had brothers on the team?

Yeah if Eli Lubick grows like 4 or 5 inches and likes us we could potentially have a monster pair of bruisers for a year.
