From God's academy in Dallas, TX. Who knew God had his own hs bb team? Do you think God would accept cash payments from World Wide Wes and Calipari to deliver recruits to Kentucky?

Gtown is monitoring a couple of Philly kids in the 2010 class also. Per Alex Schwartz NorthStarBBall:
At the Rasual Butler All-City Basketball Classic on Thursday I had the opportunity to catch up with several players in participation and get school lists from them. Here's the rundown:
Rakeem Brookins ’10, Roman Catholic (PA): Georgia Tech, Georgetown, Clemson, Stanford, Princeton, Brown, UPenn, James Madison, George Mason, Drexel, William & Mary, Delaware, St. Joseph’s, Temple, La Salle, Virginia, and Virginia Commonwealth Offers: UPenn, George Mason, Delaware, and Virginia Commonwealth Favorite: “I like UPenn.” Dream School: Georgetown
Jamir Hanner ’10, Southern (PA): St. Joseph’s, Temple, William & Mary, Georgetown, and George Mason Offers: “Not yet.” Favorites: “I like Georgetown and St. Joseph’s.” Dream School: North Carolina

Waverly Austin says his dream school has been GU ever since he was a kid.

he's coming in with Tyrone Johnson. Too bad everyone knows Georgetown has never and never will recruit white players

Waverly Austin says his dream school has been GU ever since he was a kid. Well he is a good kid, but there are not many schollies left in for the 2010 class. And we all know who the targets are, so if he is willing to wait until next spring then maybe something opens up for him...

I agree, good kid but we shouldn't be using one of our 2/3 schollies for 2010 on him. I would be surprised if we offer him a schollie (especially at this point). He's a good finisher around the rim but he needs to work on his game a lot. And having given Jerrelle a schollie for 09, I don't see a lot of value added in bringing Waverly onto the team. Tyrone on the other hand (forget about football!)...

Damnhoya. Exactly, he is not the type of player you offer this early if ever. But it does not hurt to keep in touch with.
Heartattackhoya. I guess repeatedly posting this is your attempt at humor, but it is getting old

Josh Smith's high school coach said on local Seattle radio that his top three schools are: UW, UCLA, and Georgetown.
Nice to hear, but fans should not get remotely excited because Josh is not leaving the west coast. He will be deciding between UW and UCLA over the next few weeks.

I'm guilty -- I've indulged in the Josh Smith fantasy. Just curious.... what compels him to stay on the left coast?

@#$%^&*!! Why even include GU then? Perhaps he should have picked Gonzaga for his top three instead? Its like the prettiest girl picking me and two other dudes out of a hundred as her finalists for the prom but then indicating I have no chance. So why torture me by including my name?

Everyone with two good eyes has to have Lubick ahead of Hairston. Nate has crushed hairston and most other PF's this spring/summer. Even Rivals has Nate above Hairston. Interesting where they have Kendrick and TJ ranked now. Of course all Hoyas care about is getting the best players for the system, which mean Starks, Lubick and guys like Kendrick/TJ...: basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/viewrank.asp?SID=910&Year=2010&ra_key=1909

I was wondering about Tobias Harris...he had been consistently listing us but none of u guys have been mentioning him much...not much interest?
I guess he is in Nate's same position that's why I hadn't thought much of it but it was interesting to see him mentioned nonetheless...

injury history aside, I dont see how Selby is #6 overall and Starks is @63. Might be wearing my Hoya Grey and Blue shades but I dont see Selby being better than Starks.
