As for the 7/10 teams, Davidson will be a trendy pick to get to the Sweet Sixteen like some other mid-majors have been this year--people will call them "this year's George Mason"--and we'll watch them lose to Gonzaga. Good call Big Dog! Billy Packer just said this exact thing about Davidson!!

I LOVE our draw. We match up SO WELL with Wisconsin--we'd be totally undisturbed by the pace they like to play--they're like a less-skilled us. Thank you Billy Packer for being the first to say it. "Davidson is George Mason" That took about twenty minutes.

Very pleased with our draw. I was worried about ending up with a particularly athletic team coming out of our 7/10 or out of the 3 sub-area, but instead we'll face Zags/Davidson winner and then wisconsin (if the seeds hold). When I saw Tenn as the 2 in the east, I was worried we were going to be the 3 there -- I wouldnt have liked that matchup. I think Wisconsin is a great 3 for us to face though. At first glance I think we have the easiest road to the regionals, aside from Duke.

I think others have mentioned, but Wisconsin just got royally hosed. I mean, I guess Duke's win over them earlier in the season must have really stuck with the committee. But, a 3 seed with USC, KST and us? Ouch. Duke gets to play as the 2 in DC. That's just a f'ing joke.

Billy Packer is suddenly RPI obsessed in the last two years, after all those years ignoring RPI. It's pretty ridiculous. Billy: Big East has 16 teams, 8 got in = 50%. Pac-10 has 10 teams, 6 got in, = 60%. How is this hard?

Conference tourney results seem to have been devalued this year ... no? Duke gets a 2 in DC; Wisco gets a 3 in a bracket with Kansas and Georgetown.
Confirmed our 2 seed was higher than Duke's just now on CBS...

Wait, he was whining about the ACC? At least O'Connor just said Georgetown had a better seed than dook.

Wow. Clark Kellogg with the courage to pick the four #1 seeds to make the Final Four. What, is he 10 years old and filling out his first bracket?

This is a tough second round draw. Both Davidson and Gonzaga are well coached and solid. This will be a good challenge for the Hoya's.
