Nova goes down, Reynolds won't be able to handle the press.

If Xavier is the 3 with Duke, I'll be mighty disappointed.

Nothing is for certain, but with the style and lack of prep for opposing teams, GU has an opportunity to make a strong run. Kansas was the 4th #1. I like Hoyas chances. Kansas is tough. That's one team I don't want to see

Nice to see the Big East getting respect from the committee... Nova getting in, L'ville getting a 3 seed, and Hoyas getting a strong 2.

is it not odd that all the MD schools are in Raleigh? (including the play-in game between Coppin and Mt. St. Mary's in that)

All the 1's are tough. I don't see a big drop off between them.

Having grown up watching South Alabama, and having been to one of their games in person this year, they very much play like a #10 seed or higher at times. They slip up once in awhile, like they did in the Sun Belt tournament, but they beat Mississippi State, took Vandy to 2OT in Nashville, and had some other very solid performances.

I don't think Duke deserved a 2, but in that region who else you gonna make a 2 in that region. South Region is the weakest region. UCLA in a walk. Badgers shoulda got that 2 instead of Duke.

I LOVE our draw. We match up SO WELL with Wisconsin--we'd be totally undisturbed by the pace they like to play--they're like a less-skilled us.
As for the 7/10 teams, Davidson will be a trendy pick to get to the Sweet Sixteen like some other mid-majors have been this year--people will call them "this year's George Mason"--and we'll watch them lose to Gonzaga.

HOYAS the top seeded #2 - LOVE it. I was fully expecting to hear our name called as the #2 in the East Region. This is as good a draw for us to get back to Final Four. I've seen Gonzaga play this season (in Malibu vs. Pepperdine - they won by 35+). They like an up-tempo, run and gun style usually scoring in the high 80s. We play our game plan and tough D, we handle them.
I predict that USC will beat Wisconsin so expect to see a very confident and athletic Trojan team in the Sweet 16.
HOYAS!!!
