First, let's hope Duke gets by NC State tomorrow night.

Stating the obvious, but Pitt was very underrated coming into the season. Losing Taft has been a good thing for them. I thought Krauser could go either way this year with his attitude, but he has been very good and is providing leadership. Gray has progressed extremely well and is now a quality big man. Kendall is solid too. The frosh are contributing. They are deep and athletic.

when reddick is hitting like he has been thus far they are very very tough -- impressive how they can just incorporate these freshmen into their system and not miss a beat

You are both dead on. We can talk about a lot of other factors, but these prolonged scoring droughts must be corrected, and you're right it's an issue that goes back to last year. Not sure if it's a personnel thing or a system thing. One personnel issue that I think plays a part is that when you're having these droughts it's nice to have a PG who just says screw it, I'm taking it to the hole and either scoring, drawing a foul, or dishing. We do not have that.

Gary Williams never fails to come accross like an immature baby.

c'mon, no need to stress. second game, we're still ironing out the kinks. a win is a win, especially on the road. the great thing about big roy's emergence is that now if he or jeff get in foul trouble, we're still ok. a little surprised about how short the rotation was tonight though -- but good to see Sapp is getting minutes.

Bahstin -- did you see anyone from the Gtown staff as the earlier blurb indicated and did he really put on a ZO jersey? Thanks again for the first hand accounts!

He is putting up great numbers and my take on these articles is that they probably don't run many plays for him -- he just cleans up other people's mess!

Great to hear. His decision to go to Hargrave seems like a very wise one -- playing in these national tournaments against top competition and putting up these numbers is a beautiful thing.

great work by Gregg -- Calhoun is a man of very poor character, and I am happy to see him exposed as such.

From the top --- "I have said since the beginning of this process that we should never be in the business of abandoning young men.............," Calhoun said.......................I guess that didn't apply to recruit Will Harris

Doyel is quickly becoming my favorite writer -- finally someone has the guts to call this guy out and publicly make the case against him!

this Wiggins thing is a new low........... www.nydailynews.com/sports/college/story/360992p-307602c.html"There are just too many coincidences here for people not to wonder how this really happened," said the head coach at another Big East school, who would not give his name because of concerns about the conference's reaction. "There is a fine line between what is ethical and what is not and it feels like (UConn) might be on the wrong side of the line." "Generally speaking you won't continue to recruit someone after they (give a) verbal (commitment) to another school," the Big East assistant said. "I have called players up to a week after they committed, to be sure they were still feeling good about it. After that, I'm done."

alexd, please do not insult our intelligence -- also, how do you justify this if true (wiggins being flipped to UCONN) -- stealing an in-conference recruit right before signing period?!? that is a new low! you can win the next five national champioships, but this is not the honorable way to do it. www.redmen.com/modules.php?op=modload&name=phpBB2&file=viewtopic&t=26434
