Hollis came out after getting his third foul and the Porter, Whittington, Trawick, Clark, Sims lineup was playing good defense and getting good shots though no always making them, so there was no rush to get Hollis back in.

The foul shot disparity is absurd. Can you imagine if it was 34-7 against us? Yep. Although, i agree that Rutgers makes some dumb fouls. That offensive foul might have been the game. They hold and push. They earned the calls.

Business donors are business first, politics second, so they always hedge their bets and then they come in with late money for the winner to make sure they can get the meetings and phone calls answered when they need a special favor. Are you saying the oil industry supports Obama?

No one is going to base his/her presidential vote on the pipeline. There are dozens of more relevant economic issues to those who are NOT either building it or selling land to it or some other direct payment from the project.
And Houston doesn't matter in the election either. Texas is conceded and all the oil money will go to the Republican no matter what Obama does about the pipeline.

Yes, they can cite the pipeline as a politically acceptable example of what they don't like about Obama instead of making up lies about racial demographics about welfare and food stamps.

The pipeline does not matter in the election. Most people do not care, but most of those that do care and support the pipeline were going to oppose Obama anyway, now they just have a politically acceptable excuse, and those who opposed the pipeline were going to support Obama anyway, but now they will find something else to criticize him about so that they can still consider themselves outsiders. Most of the states involved are not in play.

Suspending = Can still raise money to pay off campaign expenses. Works better if you are a sitting Senator or Governor or in some other position to help donors.

I watched a little of the Hornets game and Summers played hard. The fouls I saw were on help defense and rebounding where he was just a half step too late to make the play. He was pumped up when the Hornets tied the game with 2 minutes left but then he fouled out on the next defensive possession.

It isn't the scheme. The offense has been great considering Nate, Otto, and Greg are reluctant to shoot so defenses can play off them, and Jason, Hollis, and Markel, who can shoot, are not the best passers when they are well defended or doubled or trapped.
I would like to see JTIII play for the BET and NCAA tournaments by encouraging Otto and Greg to shoot more and play aggressively even if they make some mistakes and miss shots. When we get to the postseason, they have to be able to make shots when left open, so that opponents can't leave them open.

Dajuan Summers made his Hornets debut Monday night after sitting out the first 8 games with a knee injury.
He has 9 points in 10 minutes so far tonight against the Thunder.

More than anything, the BCS game showed that given a month plus to prepare Sabin and his assistants are much better coaches than Miles and his assistants. LSU had no Plan B once their basic package was stuffed.
It was just unbelievable that LSU kept running the option play when every time there were three Bama defenders across the line of scrimmage and Jefferson would pitch for the loss rather than turn it up and take the punishment.

One thing I noticed against Cincinnati is that Clark plays very right-handed, to the point that the offense runs on the right side much more than on the left side. I checked the shot charts on the CBS gametracker and if those are accurate, at least two-thirds of Georgetown's jumpers have been from the right side in the last two games and only Hollis has made any jump shots from the left side of the court since Starks hit a couple against Louisville.
Hollis seems to prefer to set up on the left - remember the two late threes against Marquette. Right-handed catch and shoot guys love to shoot from the left side because it is easy to set the feet in the preferred position with the right foot slightly in front of the left and the right elbow and forearm lined up for a quick, straight-on release. Even when he made the game winner against Alabama from the right side, Hollis was moving to his left which allowed the same footwork advantage.
On that last possession against Cincinnati, Hollis was on the left baseline but the play stayed on the right side and eventually went down to Otto on the right baseline without any attempt to reverse it to the left side.

Another fraud committed by James O'Keefe. The fraud is by the person requesting a ballot in the name of the dead person, not by the poll worker who hands him the ballot.

There is not a constitution right to fly on an airplane or to buy an iPhone. Those are commercial transactions where contract terms, conditions, and costs are appropriate. Voting obviously is different.
This is not all about race, the Republicans also are trying to suppress college student turnout, especially out of state students who would register to vote where they go to school. That is why some of these Republican voter ID laws do not accept a college ID for voting, but do accept a gun permit. Students with a valid out of state drivers license are not likely to go get a new driver's license or ID in order to vote and they may be selectively challenged if they try to vote using the out of state ID.
It's like the registrar from Radford, VA in 2008 who tried to prevent students from registering with a dorm address, saying that was not a permanent residence, even though state law permits students to register with a temporary address. Election law and case law are pretty clear that for people who have relocated for an extended period for work or school, their residence for voting is where they say it is, so out of state students or military personnel or others can either remain registered and vote absentee in their old residence that they consider to be their permanent home or they can register and vote where they currently reside. Radford and every other college town sure does count those students in the local population for reapportionment and when applying for formula grants for transportation and other funding.
This is not about fraud. It is about increasing the hassle factor to discourage voting from those who vote infrequently.
What do the voter ID laws say about a person whose ID has a different address than their voter registration record? Are there going to be party poll watchers in certain precincts challenging each of those voters?

Probably needed to hire a woman with the Title IX compliance experience. Not looking for a new spokesperson or fund-raiser, but a compliance hire.
Would you guys rather Reed had gone after the next Debbie Yow?

Basically, they guarded Hollis and Jason and dared anyone else to shoot. Otto has to be able to make a jump shot if they leave him open. Henry needs to get better low post position and offensive rebounding position. Hollis doesn't have the skills to get the ball on the perimeter and beat good defense off the dribble so Starks and Clark have to run the offense to his side and help set him up for shots.
Their players made plays and ours didn't. That was the difference at the end.

Huggins does not have some secret strategy. If they do not double the low post, Henry and other post players have to be able to score or draw fouls until the opponents are forced to double. If defenders are in our shooters' faces on the perimeter, our guys don't have to drive all the way to the rim, but they have to be able to dribble into a seam and threaten a mid-range shot or force a hedge or help defender to react. Just swinging the ball around the perimeter is not enough to get the defense out of position. Hollis especially cannot allow defenders to deny him so easily on the arc. If they are going to play him tight 23 feet out he has to take them for the 12 to 15 footer or make the defense collapse toward him and hit an open man. He can't let them take him out of the offense for long stretches.
