Oh, you are killing me. You do realize this team didn’t win a single bloody game last yr right? And you are giving me crap for piling on expectations? Now that’s rich! I’m just saying he’s not nearly the most talented player since Monroe.. Murray is a very nice pull who I expect to be a good contributor right away.. And help the D a lot, provided there's something approaching a system.

Smart move for Pegues. Smart move for Matta. Could we or did we not want to outbid them by enough to get him to come to a shakier situation?

I think the dream would be Brandon Huntley-Hatfield at the 4 I've heard BHH is a done deal - costs less against the cap than Efton Reid and probably a better player anyway. Will start at the 5 with Fudge at the 4. Both BHH and Fudge relatively low-cost acquisitions. BHH played AAU ball for Bobby Maze, who is Dante Harris' cousin. As such, I'd expect the BHH acquisition means Harris staying with the Hoyas and a strong continued relationship between Georgetown and Maze's AAU team. How much cap space do we have?

WAGNER (Northeastern)-- Bashir Mason (10 years; 21-6 this season; 165-130 at Wagner and overall) resigned April 11, 2022 to accept the head coaching position at Saint Peter's.
Tough act to follow.

Mac makes a three + one with 51 seconds to go. Denver missing everything.
Mac commits flagrant in last minute. Denver misses throws and basket. OT.
Mac plays in crunch time, makes breakaway reverse dunk in last second of OT. Lakers win by 5 in OT thanks to triple double by Austin Reaves.

Hopefully, oldsters DJ Augustine and Avery Bradley are sufficiently known quantities that they won’t see much time tonight. That leaves only a few other guards with Westbrook out, one of whom was also on the G-League team with Mac and was their leading scorer. I guess Malik Monk is in the mix too. They are pretty screwed for building through the draft. Pelicans have all their valuable #1 picks till 2026. www.silverscreenandroll.com/22932237/lakers-future-nba-draft-picks-trades-swapsI'll never knock LeBron as a player, but he hasn't really been a good de facto GM.

Not just 7-11, he took a team that was 5-5 in the ACC and finished 1-9. Their defensive efficiency got much worse after they fired Mack. He’s like the best example from last season that it’s not just about talent, coaching matters. Ehhh personally I think this is a great example of how you can remove context to spin a preferred narrative. 4-5 wins were against the 4 worst teams in the conference. They also lost to Pitt and NC State over that stretch. Both of those teams only won 11 games last year. They played by far the easiest ACC schedule over that first 10 and probably the toughest over that last 10. 5 out of their last 10 were all losses against tourney teams. They lost twice to 20 win UVA and once vs a 25 win Wake Forrest team away. The last 2 games over that stretch were a loss to Syracuse away and their one win vs Clemson. On top of all that they played 3 of those 10 without their best player and team captain Malik Williams. Good points, but no matter how you slice it, it's a very small sample size.

I am happy to admit that I never thought McClung would ever sniff an NBA roster. Good for him. Hard work pays off. Just in time for the last game of the regular season. I’m going to try to tune in since they’ll be sitting most everybody and he might get some run. And don’t forget, he already played three minutes with the Bulls.

You guys are SO FUNNY! I sit here and read bitching and moaning daily. I provide some actual helpful, insightful, insider information and guess what? You bitch about that too...lol Congratulations on your tenth post. I have nothing against “helpful, insightful, insider information” (if you do say so yourself), but it’s just too bad we haven’t heard from you before this

I get Murray is a top talent but I’m not some he’s a program changing player. Why is everyone so caught up in him? Because he’s local? I mean Aminu averaged more points a game as a freshman, albeit on a team he had more opportunity. I get the Murray love, and I get the need for a 4. Call me crazy, but I think a PG in the nature of Young is our top need. I'll be happy with just plain talent, but the tournament convinced me that PG play has a big impact on staying in today's game. EDIT: Oh well, bye bye Sears. Let's bring the DeMatha guy home.

Is the prospect of being the man enough to give us a shot over a number of excellent programs? Maybe don’t answer that.

I also wouldn't mind adding 2 other teams (1 more to each of East/West) to make it 14 in total and 7 in each. Play round robin then a few games against the other division. Most of this is coming from Gonzaga insiders anyways so they're probably just using it as a negotiation tactic for something else. Math test: Home and home within each division and alternating year home games across the divisions would mean the most league games that an unknown team could lose in a year would be . . . 16. This also leaves more room to schedule the entire MEAC. I like it.

Lots of rumors on social about Gonzaga coming to the Big East. That would be great for both sides outside the location. Saint Louis or Bonnies wouldn't be bad options. Clearly not as nice as Gonzaga but geography wise would be great fits. Dayton.

Lots of rumors on social about Gonzaga coming to the Big East. Are these reliable sources? Gonzaga, as others have noted, is a huge outlier geographically.
