Let's see where people have us after we beat Monmouth. Need to show that we can handle the upstarts. Monmouth has some good wins this year, right? Like Notre Dame and someone else?

Wiz sign this bum Ryan Hollins who literally cannot do a thing on the court..meanwhile Henry can pass, shoot, and rebound.

Still think Jeff is the most physically gifted player JT3 has had.

I love Roy,as most of us do. However, he does NOT get enough rebounds, especially for a guy who barely scores. I understand the concept that he is out looking for blocks. That may reduce the number of boards, but he should be getting more than 6.8 per game. Guys like Drummond and even Whiteside at Miami get lots of blocks AND lots of rebounds. Will be real interesting to see what kind of contract he gets next year, especially with the league going small, more and more.

Otto has not been particularly productive on offense, especially given the minutes he receives. Yup. He is really shooting the three poorly..and the shots are normally wide open. Shooting 26%. Playing well in every other area, but in the NBA these days, the SF has got to be able to hit 35% or better.

As a human being, I pray Trey has a quick and full recovery from whatever ails him. As a Hoya FAN, I am not overly concerned about his absence,as Kaleb Johnson looks to be a very competent, albeit different kind of point guard. Very impressed how Kaleb and LJ handled the ball against Duke.

I am so happy for Reggie. Keep it up!!! Having another 6'8" guy who can drill it is a huge benefit. Plus he has some experience and seems to know his role, etc. I am looking for a Don-Reid-esque last two years from Reggie. And then continue to surprise everyone and go on to play 8 seasons in the nba!

DSR?

I usually feel like we have no chance in big games with DSR on the bench. Did not feel that way at all today. It was a good feeling!

From what I've seen this year, this may be the deepest, and best outside shooting team we've seen under JT3, with possible exception of 07/-8. Still need a lot of improvement on the glass..Govan highly skilled on offense, not the best at blocking out or securing boards.
I have not been a huge Peak fan. However, was amazed that it was he and not DSR handling the ball and driving to draw fouls in the final minutes. Thought he looked great and more under control, than I have seen. Kaleb has looked wise beyond his years, and long and disruptive.
I join some of the others, who have been somewhat disappointed with DSR. For some reason, I was expecting/hoping he would be a legit All American candidate his senior year, maybe averaging 20 ppg. He has not improved from last year, and I must accept what some have written. He is a very good college guard, probably not a great one...which can fit in fine considering all the talent here.

Surprised that , at least at this point , the game has been called fairly evenly.

As a Hoyas fan, I have been infuriated the past few years at how many unfair, crazy fouls our guys are routinely called for. However, I am starting to consider the possibility that our guys might actually commit an amazing amount of fouls.

He wasn't part of the other team's gameplan. After two games of being the high scorer, and vs. Ryan, I think Bradley will have a crowded paint around him. Today might be the perfect opportunity to try the pass out. BUT, the shooter must make their 3s. somebody can dredge up a statistic showing that the 3 off the kickout is the highest percentage shot. I know it, but don't have time to prove it. Something to do with sightlines probably, or the fact that so many practice threes come off similar passes from the rebounders under the rim, but I would be a lot happier if our guys were firing more on kickouts than off a perimeter feed. Great point. But I think the problem is we do not have players who can, consistently penetrate and make a good kickout pass.

Well, I guess I should be breathing a sigh of relief that we will not have Mr. Bracey. The "High Majors" have spoken!

Just can't be disappointed seeing this kid sign with Louisiana Tech. There had to have been a lack of demand from the High-Majors. I value the opinions of YaBoy and others, but in this case I think the result speaks for itself. I hope DayDay has a great career and can prove all the big boys wrong. This is not like an Ochefu or Hart or Rakeem situation when we lost a player to a fierce high major rival. Staff must think there is someone out there better than DayDay. Does Vee Sanford have some eligibility remaining? Don't know nearly as much as you guys do about HS ball. But the fact Bracey ended up at a mid major does not necessarily mean he could not have been a valuable role player for us. Its normally the short guys who, unless highly highly touted, end up at the mid majors. Some like Curry become NBA MVP. Others, just whip us in Rd one of the Big Dance. Bracey signing at La Tech does not necessarily mean he could not have helped the Hoyas.

Virtually all I know about these HS kids is the stuff I read here. And I really appreciate all of you who compile the reports, videos, etc. I've been disappointed about losing several of the guard recruits discussed here, although at least most went to strong programs. This kid sounded like someone who could have been a useful, change of pace weapon, at the very least. Not thrilled he is going to La Tech.
