Crash, you have any take on what Dynasty posted in Noel thread? Pollard has taken his official to MO already, correct? I also think Mizzou is in pretty good position. The official visit went well though Devonta seems to be a pretty hard read. He said all the right things, but appeared pretty stoic even during the kU game. Momma Pollard apparently had a really good time though and when it comes down to it I think her opinion will hold a LOT of weight. Add in the fact he showed up out of nowhere for an unofficial a few weeks later (nobody other than the coaching staff even knew he was coming) when there wasn't anything going on at all makes me think that Mizzou may be near (or at) the top right now. You don't make a 10 hr drive to go to a place you've already went unless you enjoyed the first time you were there. With that being said, I think Georgetown is in pretty good spot as well. If he was so sure about Mizzou (or Texas) I doubt he would be making these last two official visits. And if he really isn't leaning one way or the other, going last has a whole lot of benefit. I think the key will be how the coaching staff is able to convey to Devonta exactly how he will fit in the offense and how they can develop his skill set to get to the next level. While he doesn't seem like he is locked in on being a "one and done", I think he will want to get there as soon as possible.

Noel with a couple of dunks and 3-4 blocks already at halftime. The most impressing thing he has done though, is knock down a 17 ft from straight away in rhythm. When I saw him earlier in the year he would catch the ball in that spot and either look to pass or drive. Even when he had space he was hesitant to shoot. Not today though. Crash do you know if they’re going to replay the game on on regular TV or is it just going to be aired on Espn3? Not sure if there will be a tv replay of the game, but it should be archived on espn3.com.

The guy is a Maryland fan....if you look at his feed he even sent a message to a recruit telling him to come to TerpNation. My guess is the guy is a troll who is just trying to get the Gtown fanbase riled up.

Late Night Nerlens update from Twitter:
He still wears Beats Pros even though they mess up his hair a little bit.
Its apparently going to be tough to think about what he will do without Jean.
He thinks Kevin Love is wayyy better than Blake Griffen.
"su. Uk. Gtown" are his top 3.
Its only 17 more days till his birthday...he's #ampd....though he doesn't know what he is doing for it yet.

To be fair, he has categories for (1) kids in the draft, (2) kids leaning toward getting in the draft, (3) 50/50 kids, and (4) kids who have stated that they are coming back. I think that we can safely assume that Ford's definition of 50/50 is quite different from most people's. It doesn't mean that, in Otto's mind, it's a toss up. It just means that Ford has no idea, which probably means that it is more likely that the kid is staying. I'm willing to bet that fewer than half the kids on that list enter the draft. That may be the case then. However there is no reason to be concerned at all.

He's got to be mixing up Otto and Hollis.....no truth to Bubba considering the draft.

As much as I would love to see him suiting up as a Hoya next year, it may not be the best thing to happen. If Errol does happen to be connected with ASM Sports and has done so much as bought Nerlens a cheeseburger, whatever games he plays in next year could be wiped off the books.

I kinda wonder how his good friend Michael Carter-Williams is feeling about his decreased playing time lately. He's been averaging less than 5 min a game over the last 9 games and didn't play at all tonight (in his hometown). I can't imagine that is sitting well with him at all.

So let me get this straight...
1. Noel has claimed Errol Randolph is his mentor regarding his recruitment 2. Errol Randolph is a Syracuse fan from Boston who worked at Everett prior to Nerlens transferring to Tilton. 3. Errol moved to Miami. 4. Noel just flew to Miami for a few days (around March 17-20) 5. He took a picture with Errol's kid and posted it on Twitter (so presumably he was with Errol for at least part of the trip) 6. Errol's linkdin page claims he is a "self employed basketball manager" 7. The "Company Website" link on Errol's linkedin page goes to ASM Sports. 8. ASM Sports is sports agency based out of New Jersey with an office in Atlanta. 9. Pete Thamel is either a complete idiot or there is a reason he did not disclose more about Errol's relationship to Noel.
There are a few things that wonder about this whole situation. First, I understand Errol is a Syracuse fan but is he considered a Booster? Second, who paid for Noel's flight to Miami this past weekend? Third, what exactly does Errol do and why (of ALL the potential company websites) does he link ASM Sports in his linkedin page?
I'm starting to worry not only that Noel may choose a school based upon "handlers"....but that even if he picked Georgetown (or anyone for that matter), his relationship with Errol could compromise his eligibility and prevent him from ever playing a game.

Calipari was going to visit his mother since they hadn't met before, wouldn't look into that part of it. You are right.

Update posted today from Rivals discussing his final 3 basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1344946Key Parts: "It is all about where I feel most at home," Noel told Rivals.com. "It is where I feel most comfortable living there for a year or two. It needs to feel like family.""Right now they are just sort of the same," he said. "After my mom visits with all of them, I will sit down over next couple weeks with her and figure out what the differences are and which coach I have the most trust in.

I would be more than glad to welcome any Porter to the program. Period. These kids know how to play basketball. Also, the "Who needs Otto?" quote in that article, though probably not malicious in nature, was a bad look for the coach. 110% not malicious...Kenyon is a helluva guy and still close with Otto. Knowing him, he's probably already given Otto some good natured grief about it. A lot of people doubted that team all year and really who could blame them after losing an All American and not returning anyone over 6ft. Next year may be even more difficult, though there should be a pretty decent freshman playing varsity whose father has said will be better than Otto. That freshman just happens to be Otto's little brother Jeffrey.
