Down 10 at half and 20 at the end is what I’m thinking

MOVE, REBOUND is almost over. Can’t help but feel sad for the tarnished legacy and angry about the loot for a colossal failure

This is when we make a run. When it’s over

I wish these announcers would stop talking about what a credit it is to Ewing that the team still plays hard. First, they don’t play hard and have obviously quit and, second, the idea that a college coach getting credit because his team tries hard is ridiculous. It’s the same as the 2019-20 season when Ewing got all sorts of praise because his short handed team (because half the guys quit on him) tried hard and only lost by small margins. It’s nuts. It’s actually an insult that they need to talk him up

Spears does not play winning basketball. Can a new coach fix this? Yes, get a real PG. A new coach will recruit his own PG

The strategy is to let Murray and Spears throw up threes?

We hit a couple of threes and the announcers get verbal diarrhea

Hang in there Hoyas. We must bring more fight to the battle. Now Q is not on the court. Whoever the coach is next season we need a reliable center. Still baffled that we’ve been unable to land a top center, especially in Ewing’s early years

Hopefully this is the last game where our home court feels like morgue. I doubt it. Whoever gets hired, it’s a very, very long road back. If we have a Pitino or Cooley level coach, our improvement will be immediate. If we go the safe cheap route, we will never recover.

How do we play every year and not figure into the NCAA tournament discussion? So depressing! ☹️

Ewing should have been fired at the end of last season after 0-20. This is a lost season

NIL is a not a free market system, where players are given deals commensurate with their value in pure terms of driving sales, etc. Instead, it's a legal way for fans/alumni/boosters to funnel money toward kids. Especially at these huge footballs schools, you have ridiculously wealthy alumni or fans who are willing to throw money around simply to get players. Like the Miami booster who offered $540,000 ($500 per player, per month) to the 90-member Miami football team. In any real capitalistic system, that would never happen. NIL really is a joke, in that it's a way to legally give kids money for attending a university. The actions of the Miami booster are the very definition of free market capitalism. Definitely capitalism. NIL money, free transfers, 5th year seniors have further made a mockery and cesspool out of college football & basketball. These aren’t student-athletes any longer, for the most part. These are athletes warehoused in a college. Living in special dorms and taking easy procured classes. For every Malcom Wilson there are dozens who can’t truly compete at the classroom level. This starts in high school where teachers are pressured to pass star athletes and coaches get kids to take the SATs for them.

You have to be able to scan an image of the arena and let an AI accurately provide the actual attendance figure. It’s probably in no one’s best interest to go this route as inflated figures are the objective.

I think Murray would rather put up 25 and lose rather than 12 and win, given the choice

If the boosters have a say, no way in hell you take Brey over Pitino. Boosters pony up to win
