Can anyone explain to me how the point totals work? I assumed it was 15 points for a 1st place vote, 14 for a 2nd place vote, all the way down to 1 point for a last place vote. However, if that's the system, a lot of the coaches who didn't pick us #1 didn't pick us at #2 either. 8 coaches picked us 1st 8 * 15 = 120 7 coaches didn't pick us, so assume 2nd 7 * 14 = 98 120 + 98 = 218 We had 217 points, so it looks like 6 coaches picked us 2nd and 1 coach picked us 3rd. My guess is Boheim!

So DirecTV is advertising for ESPN Full Court but the address on the commercial sends you to a page about last year's schedule.
Does anyone know then 2007-2008 full court schedule is going to be out?

How does MASN work with DirecTV, blackouts, and ESPN Full Court? Is it going to be one of those cases where I have the station but can never end up watching games on it because of blackouts?
I used to have Dish with the sportspack and every time there was a game on a regional sports network I wanted to watch it was blacked out.

January 5th 2005....... The 8-3 Hoyas are in the 1st season under JT3. With victories over Clemson & Penn State, 3 ugly losses to Illinois, Temple, and Oral Roberts, and OT escape at home over Norfolk State most people have no idea what to make of this new coach.
To make matters worse the Hoyas have to open Big East play at #16 Pitt in the Peterson Events Center. At the time Cuse was the only Big East team that had won in the building. The Hoyas had dropped 8 straight conference games and hadn't beat a ranked team in almost 3 years. Even worse Pitt had just been shocked by Bucknell and hadn't lost back to back games in 3 years.
To make matters even worse I couldn't root for my Hoyas that night because foolishly I had decided to propose to my girlfriend of 6 years on the same night. What I learned however is she is an incredibly good omen for the Hoyas. (I had my rehearsal dinner the night of the Vandy game) and spent my 1st day married watching us beat UNC).
Anyway the Hoyas gutted out a huge victory (67-64) and started a very nice run in the Big East that ultimately ended with a deep run in the NIT. It wasn't the most pretty season but to me that was the day JT3 proved to us, he was special.

Yeah I speculated earlier he might sign a contract just long enough to see if the school was going to do what they said they were going to do.

Right before homecoming, I love the timing! Although 3 months ago would have worked for me too!
I guess JT3 thinks they are serious about building this practice facility and that they have about 6 years to finish it!

I could see JT3 signing an extension until the building is supposed to be finished, then at the end of that period deciding if Gtown was serious he would sign a long term extension.

It seems to me we need to relax. In the recent years Georgetown has been in building mode and has being doing a good job with it.
They built the SWQ, the new performing arts building, the MSF, they are halfway done with the new MSB building. Those are all recent completed projects.
I think they will be able to finish the MSB building and get both the science building and this practice facility built rather quickly. The more the alumni get behind it the faster these projects will get done.
I'm pretty excited to see what campus is going to look like in 5 and 10 years.

What would be a feasible timetable for its completion assuming it gets approved?

Columbia,
The reason is its against the card member agreement a merchant signs with Visa, MC, Amex, Discover, etc to sell for different prices if a person uses a credit card versus another form of payment.
