i dint keep up with the high school rankings or recruiting battles so i have a question for those who do.
do we have any non "studs" coming in, or is everyone a blue chipper? i personally like a few guys with something to prove and a bull dog mentality on the roster

Tyler Crawford would certainly qualify as a glue guy.

Tyler Crawford would certainly qualify as a glue guy. i meant future players. I am aware of that. You might find a few in the recruiting table at the top of the board, but most of the players being talked about are 'top prospects'

I like glue guys, but you can always find them. In fact, I think with the exception of about 4 players, all we had was "glue guys" from 1993 to 2005.
So I'd rather our glue guy be PE Jr. like this year because he's also extremely talented. No offense to Shomnick or Don Reid, but I'd rather have our glue guys be potential leading scorers on teams in the bottom half of the conference.

Also, just because someone is a highly recruited prospect doesn't mean they aren't a glue guy, if you are using it in the sense of an unselfish player who does all the little things.
I expect Jason Clark to be a glue guy. A really good glue guy. I don't think a player has to be on the bench to play that role.
