People who have service as a job and a source of income : - firefighters - Doctors - nurses - police - teachers - Priests, Rabbis, clergy of all kinds - a lot of non-profit workers Thinly veiled talking point from an insincere partisan to defend a President with widespread conflicts of interest and potential corruption. He's the honorable one because he has a "job". Not the people who put service first. Up is down, black is white, facts don't matter. Your inability to see the distinction speaks volumes. This has nothing to do with partisan anything. Government has become about staying in government, not service. Both parties. If you think Barbara Boxer or any of them go to Washington to help anyone but themselves, she has a Golden Gate Bridge to sell you.

For inadvertently summing up in one sentence what is wrong with Washington and our government.
When you say that "politics is a noble profession" you reveal how our political class views itself. Politics should be about service. Our founders had real jobs and real professions. They went home to those jobs and professions.
What we have today are people who view service as their job and their source of income.
And that is the problem

There is nothing wrong with automatic voter registration just as there is nothing wrong with asking a voter to prove they are who they purport to be.

Democrat Party loves to campaign and bitch. They are what they are. You and the party have something in common. Man, that sounds just like you. I don't waste my time campaigning... Get it right. I only bitch...

If the desire is merely to audit the vote to learn something before the next election, why are we only doing it in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania? Democrat Party loves to campaign and bitch. They are what they are.

Those kids will look back someday on the wonderful 15 extra minutes they spent in Pierce Reading Room.
Hope the chants for our wonderful Womens' Soccer team did not disturb any of the snowflakes.

Win the games on the schedule. We are not in a position to look for style points. Same goes for LaSalle; by 1 or 21.

Buzzard's luck for our ladies tonight. That said, they play a beautiful brand of soccer and the foundation is solid. We need some Corboz kids...

I am always concerned when the governed are robbed by the governing. The Clintons, who have been on the government or charitable teat since 1992 are worth hundreds of millions. This concerns me. None of the Clinton family members draw a salary from the Foundation - and even if they did, that money isn't coming from the "governed", it's coming from donors to the Foundation. Many of whom - as so many Clinton-bashers have reminded us of for so many years - are not even American. There have been some questions about the use of Foundation money for personal things, and that's inappropriate if it is indeed true. But if that gets you riled up, I'll remind you to also be concerned that the Trump Foundation acknowledged self-dealing in its 2015 IRS filings. As you are fond of saying, sauce for the goose... The Clintons are worth hundreds of millions because of income they earned while private citizens. As so many Clinton-bashers have reminded us, they have both racked up enormous speaking fees from the investment banks (and others) of the world. And you know what? They're well within their rights to make as much money as they possibly can as private citizens. If you want to be less concerned, feel free to peruse the decades worth of tax returns they've released. Was Bill within his rights to trade access to Hillary while she ran State for exorbitant speaking fees, or was he just that fascinating a speaker?

Steve Neumann option not picked up by Revs. I know a certain 11 year old who is both hacked off at this news and hopeful the Union bring Steve home. He just needs an opportunity to play and Brian Carroll needs to retire.
Perfect fit on the pitch and will make Harry happy. Win Win in my book

Rest assured when Trump steps out of line, I will bitch as well.

I watch the games for enjoyment. Right now they are not that enjoyable to watch. Thus, I watch less.
Win or lose, the sun comes up tomorrow and life goes on.
