Plus Henry never got in rhythm due to being in foul trouble all game.

We can probably pinch Hollis down further toward the baseline.

Couple bad plays by Whitt gives Cuse some momentum.

And St John's should never agree to play Syracuse. St John's can reclaim New York. If they want a big ACC opponent in MSG continue to play Duke and schedule UNC. No reason to give Syracuse exposure in NYC.

No Big East program should ever play Syracuse. Not St John's and not Georgetown. Syracuse is leaving the Big East. They are the ones that left. Why would St John's want Syracuse to be New York's college team? There are plenty of good programs that St John's could play that would want to play in MSG. And screw Pitt. Talk about cutting off your recruiting base.

And we've been a little unfortunate in the tournament. Two years ago Austin found out he had diabetes and last season Chris got injured. We also played Davidson in their backyard and Roy got in foul trouble. We still should have won. That one hurts the most to me because that was a team which was elite eight/final four quality.

Fantastic second half. Offense was clicking and the defense solid as usual.

I agree, win in the tournament is the bottom line. Nothing changes until we win and advance. Having said that, i do feel we are more equipped to win in the tourney than the past few years. Our team is much better defensively and in tournament games you need something to lean on. Jump shooting, as we all know, comes and goes but good defense can be a constant.

Great race. I'm amazed at how many people are sitting right on or near the track. You must have had one heck of a view.

There is no doubt in my mind that Fab Melo will be back for our game. No doubt. Woodall came back for Pitt. Boatright came back for UConn. Heck, it wouldn't surprise me if Tim Abromaitis's knee suddenly gets better just in time for the Georgetown game. Either that or the NCAA decides to give him his 8th year of eligibility.
