I'd like to see LSU, Bradley, and George Mason win. I'll be rooting for West Virginia, Gonzaga (small Catholic basketball school), UConn, and Nova. And even if every other game went against who I'd like to see win, I'd be overjoyed if Georgetown won. Go Georgetown and Big East!

I've got tickets to friday night's games but I plan on leaving to watch the hoyas game. Can someone let me know where hoya fans are watching that isn't too far away from MCI? I'd imagine Clydes will be full of Mason fans.

Congrats Mr. and Mrs. Bracket winners, maybe next year your teams will make it into the NIT bracket!!! It must have been pretty cool following your team in the fan bracket poll instead of following them in the NCAA Tournament. Gosh, I wish I'd gone to Louisiana Tech or Penn State now.

Isn't it more fun to beat a rival in a good year than a bad year though? If you are a yankees fan, isn't it more satisfying to beat the redsocks in the ALCS than in spring training? Don't you think it was more satisfying for Nova to beat us in the National Championship?

Elvado or Filo, so you'd rather the Big East resemble the WCC where there is one good team Georgetown and the rest of the Big East is made up of low major quality opponents. Sounds good for Georgetown, a conference where 1. any loss kills your rpi 2. there is no national media attention 3. the common bond of a basketball first conference is gone

I understand that everyone here hates Syracuse, nova, uconn, west virginia, pittsburgh and everyone else in the big east. They are our in conference rivals and it is always fun to beat them. Some people on this board think you should root against them all the time, from out of conference games at the beginning of the year through the NCAA tournament. It seems to me that it is in Georgetown's interest to have a stronger big east. I'd rather see Syracuse beat Bucknell at the beginning of the year, or Marquette and Seton Hall make it past the first round of the Tournament. I think it ultimately helps Georgetown. If more big east teams do well, it should increase the national exposure of all the teams and it should help Georgetown's chances of getting an NCAA bid during an off year. For these reasons, I say Go UConn, Nova, and West Virginia this thursday and friday. I'd love to hear what others think because it seems most threads are bashing anyone who says they'd love to see a Georgetown Nova elite 8 matchup, a Georgetown UConn final four, and then a Georgetown West Virginia national championship game. I'd rather we beat teams in the Big East than have teams in another conference beat them. GO HOYAS!!!

Nobody gets a full scholarship but a few people get some form of financial aid. Anyway, I'm glad none of our sports teams were below the 925 line. If our swim team is really representative or what it takes to score a 938, I'm really impressed that nationally only 99 teams were affected. Go Hoyas, Beat South Florida!!!

I graduated last year and swam all four years at Georgetown. 90 percent of the team made the Big East Academic All-Star Team. We lost nobody to transferring, and throughout my four years, everyone graduated on time. The fact that the swim team scores in the bottom for Georgetown's APR while both the men's and women's teams are also consistantly ranked in the top ten nationally for highest GPA is confusing. I was captain last year and was never able to get a real answer as to what hurt our APR.

56 - 50 Georgetown clinching the four, and South Florida waiting until 2007 to win its first Big East game.

JJ had nightmares for weeks after Georgetown stormed the court. Coach K couldn't let that happen again.

Ok, so what can be done about it? Is there someone to write letters to or send emails, a private sense of outrage is not going to get AI on the Olympic team.

I know I'm just being a jerk here, but can we fix the name of the thread to Bowman needs *our* support more than ever!!! And I agree, he'll turn it around in March. Sorry for nitpicking grammar.

I griped last night about the marquette game, but we do match up better against Nova. They have nobody who can play with Roy and Jeff. Hopefully, Nova's guards can discourage our guards from shooting threes and we can rely on back door cuts and inside play. I'm optimistic about the Nova game.

Watching Georgetown this year, they seem to be most successful against man to man defenses. Against a zone, they have had zero success. Anyone agree or disagree?

Gtown is the host institution and you can't play if you are the host. Also, you can't play in an arena that you have played more than three games at.
