Marquette switches back to man, georgetown goes on a 14-4 run. Can Georgetown score against a zone? When will Marquette switch back to zone?

Would it kill us to go inside? I mean, Bowman and Cooke are not hitting outside shots. Can we do anything against a zone? Where does our offense go when teams do not guard Roy man to man outside the three point arc?

No on campus arena. 1. it would be tough to get to, has anyone ever seen M St. move? 2. It can't hold 20,000 fans in all likelyhood only 8. If the hoyas are good more people will buy tickets. We are averaging 10k fans a game this year. 3. It would cost around 100 million dollars. Isn't that a little much to spend when we don't have a track and have the worst pool in the conference?

Turning point was the charge at the end of the first half when we were up ten. For so much of the second half i wanted to scream, bad passes did us in as well as our 0 percent shooting by players not named Jeff Green. I was there and the second half was ugly. When west virginia got it close it became clear that over half the arena was WV people. Aaaaarrrrhhhhh.

Georgetown hasn't proven that they can beat a team that plays a zone that will not extend much past the three point line. If you watched the Duke or Pitt games, both teams guarded Roy out beyond the three point arc. Against South Florida, Vanderbilt, and even Navy, if Roy went out of the paint the teams stopped guarding him. The way to beat us is to allow Roy to get the ball anywhere but the paint. This is more likely to happen against a zone, so Georgetown appears weaker against a zone. The real problem teams have is they leave the paint open guarding our big men outside.

www.pennlive.com/sports/patriotnews/index.ssf?/base/sports/1139221242223280.xml&coll=1"You saw reasons they could actually be a Final Four team in April, reasons they likely won't be and, ultimately, reasons for keeping a keen eye on a revitalized program primed to recall its glory of two decades ago. " Wow, going from not in the bracket three weeks ago to actually being considered a dark horse for the final four. I wonder when the Post will get on board?

We've got to beat Saint John's for me to start thinking we are a top ten team. I agree we can beat anyone in the country, but I've been at our games from Navy to South Florida to Duke to Pitt and Georgetown can also lose to anyone. ESPN and the Post would love for the Hoyas to just give them a reason so they can stop giving us any coverage. I think we'll beat St. John's and WV. Then we'll definately be top 10.

This is a winnable game if we continue playing the way we've played of late. Going as far back as the West Virginia game, we have been able to play with a top tier team. Beating Duke has provided the team with the confidence to start wrecking teams. The big question is when they beat Pitt, will they finally get the front page of the Washington Post and any respect on ESPN?
