Coach, players (especially our seniors who laid it all out there for GU for 4 years) and staff for a great year in Step 2 of the Renaissance of Georgetown Basketball.
As much as I love my '84 champions and the '82 and '85 runners-up, this team will always have aplace in my heart for making GU hoops relevant and important again.
The score may favor the Gators, but my team is a bunch of winners. A thousand thanks from this proud alum.

Agree -- went down fighting and no reason to hang heads after this run. We're back in position to have a long term run of good basketball.

Yes, good luck and best wishes for our seniors. They represented so well tonight and will always be part of Georgetown's resurrection. Thanks for sticking with us Brandon, Ashanti and Darrell; your loyalty and accomplishments against the odds will not be forgotten.

Same here. These guys came when many wouldn't, stayed when some didn't, suffered some bad times, and kept playing with heart and intensity. They were an integral aprt of the resurrection of Hoya bball, and they will truly be Hoyas Forever. HOYA SAXA!

This is my team. From a senior to JT3 and the team, especially the seniors, thanks for making Georgetown basketball Georgetown basketball again.
It hurts that it's over, but I know I'm always going to look back and smile at this season.

Everyone- next season starts NOW. We took a step forward this year bc of a lot of hard work by a lot of good fans. Thanks especially to JerseyHoya, St.Petersburg Hoya, TBird, and anyone else who's a senior among HB.
Join the HHC, volunteer your time, treasure, and talent, and let's keep this thing going forward!

Great thread! The guys overachieved this year. Congratualations to all the players, especially the seniors (and grad student), who will be missed greatly. Who could have imagined that they would have been one missed basket from the Elite Eight?

From a current student, thank you to 007 for organizing the fans. But more importantly, Ashant, Bobo, DJ, Amadou, and Ryan, my beers tonight ARE FOR YOU!

I would like to commend our Seniors. They have been through hell and back, and they went out as champions and winners, IMO. They helped lay the foundation down of restoring pride and winning back into G-town again, and now Wallace, Sapp, Hibbert, and Green and the rest of the guys can take the lead.
Thanks again seniors. Job well done. I wish you well in your future endeavors.
