Le Moyne: 9,335, 7 PM, November 7, 2023 - Tuesday
Holy Cross: 7,621, 8 PM, November 11, 2023 - Monday
Mt. St. Mary's: 4,648, 12 PM, November 18, 2023 - Saturday
American: 4,755 4:30 PM, November 19, 2023 - Sunday
Jackson State: 4,126, 12 PM, November 25, 2023 - Saturday
What could these numbers be with an improved squad, better opponents and no weird weekday times? Also, keep in mind that fall recess was Nov 22–27 and November 25th was Rivalry Week in college football.

Merrimack: 2,744 8:30 PM, November 29, 2023-Wednesday Why didn’t we give away free tickets tonight? Asking students, in particular, to pay to watch this game was ludicrous.

“Crowd” really was brutally small last night — I doubt there were even 1700 actually in the house. But this is another thing that I expect to improve next year. With more time to address it and more familiarity with his circumstances and a better team to put on the floor, given how much Cooley obviously really likes a robust home atmosphere I expect the quality of team we play and minimizing or eliminating the weird start times to be a real point of emphasis in the schedule. I know there is only so much to be done with Fox and the Cap One lease/available dates, but it’s not like he and Lee Reed (who as we know is at many many many games) will be oblivious to the situation..

Winning will improve everything. Let’s make sure we retain our players for next year, keep our recruits, and fill in the remaining roster holes with experience and/or a super stud so we can have a proper roster to compete in the BE and against better OOC opponents. In the meantime, it is what it is.

8:30 on a Tuesday or Wednesday is always going to be bad. I bet if we were top 25 playing Merrimack at the same time slot we might have pulled in another 2k. The arena is too damn big.

Are we obligated to play games non-conference games at CapitalOne? Why the hell wouldn’t we play the cupcake games on campus at McDonugh?

Don’t quote me on this, but I believe we have to play 18 games here as part of the deal? It is the same reason why we have been hamstrung playing too many neutral site games in the OOC slate (ie MTE events), as we need to have 8 non BE games scheduled there.

Attendance is a significant issue, but the enthusiasm level among those attending is a plus over prior years. Even last night.

I'm guessing 12,000+ next Saturday against Syracuse.

Went to the Merrimack game. If there were 800 people there I would be surprised. The Phone Booth is a detraction. Time to move on.

7,910 for a 5:30 pm start on a Saturday. Big bounce from the previous game. The quality of the opponent makes a big difference.

I was there and it got very loud for only being 7,900 Every one of those 7910 was up and making NOISE at the end. We are a the verge of having a real home court “scene” as we get into meaningful games. What a difference a year makes.

The place was ready to explode if the refs overturned the call I would still be in there screaming if the refs had done the right thing
