No way! 😂 I’ll be happy with 8-12.

No way! 😂 I’ll be happy with 8-12. If you look at the schedule we’ve played, only one team in SDSU is as good as the rest of our BE peers, and yet we’ve gone 7-4 or 6-5 against that schedule. To think we’d be anywhere over .500 in 20 games against that level of competition seems highly improbable.

I also worry about nagging team injuries.

13-7......We start a little slow and then catch fire towards the end all the way through for the back to back BE tourney C'ship!!!! I wanted to grab my original prediction just for S&G. I'm the most glass half full fan and I find it hard to find 10 wins. But I'll go 11-9 after seeing the good and bad of our team and after seeing every team in the BE play at least once but Butler. Home wins: Quette, Butler, StJs, DePaul, Provy, Creighton, X, Nova, Road wins: Butler, DePaul, Hopefully we can steal the home game against UCONN but I see them as a bad matchup against our young pups. I have us at 10-10 because we have games at home towards the end of the conference run against DePaul and UCONN that we should be ready for by then.

I believe if we played that schedule again we are at worse 8-2 (SDSt, SC maybe).

Agree, the team that lost to Dartmouth would go no better than 5-15 in the league. The team that beat Syracuse and Howard could go 9-11, if healthy. I just don’t see us winning half our league games, but I hope we do.

6-14 or 7-13. League is too tough / too deep for a team without King, Riley, and Tim (for part of it). We’ll probably be 0-6 vs the Top 3, so 6-8 or 7-7 vs everyone else feels like the range. I think this is probably right. I'm not fully convinced yet we're any worse than Butler, DePaul or Creighton. Yes they've had some better individual game showings than us, but plenty of close calls against poor competition as well. Marquette seems to be one that has legitimately distanced itself from the bottom based on what I've seen so far. So i could see the conference definitely falling into tiers, where we maybe eek out an 8th place finish but that could still be at 7-13 or maybe 8-12 at the best case. The right guess is 6-7 probably but hopeful we can surprise to the upside

There he is. I'll go 10-10. This was with Tre King. I’m gonna revise to 7-13 and hope they prove me wrong.

Back in October I was predicting 11-9. If you asked me two weeks ago I would have said 6-14. Let's see what happens tomorrow. A solid win and I'm going 13-7. A bad loss and I'm back to 6-14. A strong performance, win or lose , and I'm 10-10.

Yes I’m confident Coach Ewing will have the gumbo in good shape and with COVID protocols, we could do even better than 12-8. Seems like most of our assistant coaches are diligent with mask wearing and the small crowds in CapOne Arena should help our COVID chances. Tomorrow will be a test as I expect 10K+ in the building following our 3-game winning streak.

Creighton looked pretty good against Nova tonight. They're not a great matchup for us, IMO. They're one of the few teams with competent bigs and, though before tonight they were a bad 3 point shooting team on paper, they didn't look that way. Additionally, they take care of the ball and turn opponents over a lot. We're very turnover prone already and that's against mediocre D. I'd be happy to split with them.

Another example of the Skip Bayless ploy of setting high expectations so he can rip Ewing apart when they aren’t met Or it’s just sarcasm lol
