Anglin gives you a very nice combination of skill and being vocal. He’s always one of the loudest players on the floor but also brings you elite skills on both ends of the floor. Speed, great playmaker, can score on all levels, and is also a very capable defender. I’d expect him to add more muscle before his departure to college, but, he has thrived and is deserving of much more attention.

Calm Killa is a baller nickname. I think we need more great nicknames like that and less CP3, AD, ARod, so unimaginative. Calm Killa is worthy of some Hoya Paranoia. Now the kid just has to back it up.
Also interesting to see how prominent that Jordan brand is in his post. Seems that relationship still pays off, at least at the margins. Anyone know if Jordan brand/Nike can do anything with players under NIL if they sponsor the team? Or is that off limits?

“I’ve been talking to them for a long time. They offered early in my career. I like talking to [Patrick Ewing] and Coach [Akbar] Waheed. The other coaches are cool, too. It’s been a great process.” -- Anglin to Rivals.com last month
Ok Coach AK. That’s what we want to see 👌🏾

Yeah this will be a great start to the '22 class. Hopefully Watson follows suit and pops soon also. Then the staff can focus on going after the big fish to finish the class... I feel like I have seen a similar comment to Zeke's around the 2022 class... My understanding is as of right now we will have have 2 scholarships for 2022 (Rice and Carey). Am I totally missing the boat w/that? Beyond a transfer and I totally realize w/the state of college hoops not having any transfers is now a rarity versus the norm, presently we only have 2 scholarship openings correct? Yeah I'm on a island by myself Beantown but I don't believe we will have 2yrs of Aminu or King. I believe DC, Rice, King and Aminu will be taking there talents to the pro level. Some NBA, some Euro.... Welcome to the Hilltop Denver.... LET's GO!!!

So balanced when he goes up for his shot, perfect form and super quick release. You read things like "quick release" like "high motor" or "good bball IQ" and assume its filler or a generic adjective that got attached a while back. But watching those videos, it really does seem like his release is elite and could have an impact at the next level. If he drives the lane too much I do see the potential for some Akinjo level rejection frequency though.

That’s what we want to see 👌🏾 As one of the people who named him specifically in the 22 thread about local recruiting, good to see him mentioned by a commit. Though Anglin's not a local, I'll happily take this shout out! A little odd, though...wonder if they changed up who is recruiting where? Louis Orr, I thought, was the NJ/NY area guy?

Having a guy that can consistently drain open shots is awesome. Haven’t really had that in a while unless you want to but Blair in that category. Should be able to stretch the defense when he’s on the floor and hopefully with his size and profile he’s more fit for the college game and becomes a 3 or 4 year guy.
