Having a guy that can consistently drain open shots is awesome. Haven’t really had that in a while unless you want to but Blair in that category. Should be able to stretch the defense when he’s on the floor and hopefully with his size and profile he’s more fit for the college game and becomes a 3 or 4 year guy. Carey? Last season we were the second best 3-FG% team in the BE. It looks like we’ll be good again this year with Carey leading the way, a stronger Dante and the new recruits who shoot well. My guess is we will be better from 3 than last year. The strategy should be to not drop that ranking and Denver helps.

He matches well with the driving of Riley and Aminu.

1st in EYBL in 3 point makes and % is BIG TIME. Also, leading minutes for the Rens is a telltale sign of what his AAU staff think of him. The Rens are loaded with high D1 talent.

Congrats to Denver and kudos to the staff!
The ability to shoot 3s off the dribble puts an unreal amount of pressure on the defense. Excited to see him in the blue and gray

Like Carey as a shooter but he needs to shoot more(only 89 attempts)in order to be considered a true threat from 3... Gtown was #2 percentage wise but to me its tempered by being 10th in attempts... Anglin has been a high volume\high percentage player so far in this HS career. I hope that continues when he gets to Gtown...

They better not leave any space open in the zone and they better double him when they are playing man defense to get the ball out of his hands quickly.

Like Carey as a shooter but he needs to shoot more(only 89 attempts)in order to be considered a true threat from 3... Gtown was #2 percentage wise but to me its tempered by being 10th in attempts... Last year we were 4th in 3FG attempts: www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/statistics/team/_/stat/3-points/sort/threePointFieldGoalsAttempted/group/4One big difference next season is that it's the first season Pat does not have one of the top centers in the BE, so I don't expect the offense to look the same way as what we've seen with Jessie/Omer/Qudus (forcing the ball to the center every possession). From the new recruits coming in, it looks like they all can shoot from the perimeter and that should give us an idea of where Pat is taking the offense. I think it will lead to more 3s and maybe #1 in BE 3FGAs. I agree that Carey needs to shoot more, but Blair and Pickett (and then Bile) were the gunners last year. To put it in perspective, Blair shot 99 more 3s than Carey, while Pickett had 21 more 3s than Carey. Blair had 7.5 3FGA/g and Pickett had 4.2 3FGA/g, while Carey had 3.4 3FGA/g. EDIT: After looking at those numbers and seeing Dante at 26% from 3, I'm going to predict that he goes up to around 34%-35% next season. He's going to be stronger, more experienced, better prepared and will have a solid roster around him to help him.

Signing one of the best shooters in the country is never a bad thing. Has Lic checked out his growth plates yet? It would be great if there was another couple inches in there. Welcome to the Hilltop Denver.

We've been on him a very long time, and he's a high academic kid (other schools like Stanford, ND, etc.)...I would be extremely disappointed if we lost him to UConn)...most of the articles I've read have us at or near the top for him and always mention how long we've had him as a priority...fingers crossed... Hurley > Ewing. If UCONN wants him, I doubt we get him. This aged poorly
