6'2 Combo out of Jersey
ON GEORGETOWN
“I’ve been talking to them for a long time. They offered early in my career. I like talking to [Patrick Ewing] and Coach [Akbar] Waheed. The other coaches are cool, too. It’s been a great process.”
ON HIS TIMETABLE FOR A COMMITMENT
“I just wanted to take these visits now. Then, I’ll go play Peach Jam and see what happens after that. We get five more in August, so I might take some more if there are other schools I want to see. I’ll probably make a decision in the fall period.”

I bet you we’re showing Denver plenty of before and after footage of Jahvon between Freshman and Senior years.

If we have to get a point guard, this is the only "point guard" that I would take. All the others you can keep. I want this guy and it ain't because he's a "point guard".

Showing some serious sack! “What you doing here? You got no business tryna get up in my grill.” If Pat is doing what we think Pat is doing - going after guys that have the 84 Hoya Paranoia attitude - looks like this cat could fit right in.

#2 right behind Ward.... I hope we still have a chance at Ward...🙏🏽 Well I would rather not get another guard because I feel we have too many of them but I would make an exception for this guy. As for Ward, I would take any local talent and would especially take Ward. He's a s small forward, a position I feel we desperately need to fill especially fill it with a player of Ward's caliber. My problem with Ward is that he claims Georgetown was his dream school or something to that effect. Why hasn't he committed to us if Georgetown is program that he has an affinity for? I don't know if he is going to commit to us especially with his old coach getting a college coaching job. I'll hold out hope but I won't be surprised if he chooses some other school and because of those feelings, I won't hold my breath nor am I overly following/waiting to see when and who he is committing to.

Yeah I feel like GTown or the Twerps are always the "dream school" for local kids until the blue bloods come calling. I worry that Ward and Whitmore have played themselves into blue blood territory. I'm hoping for the best but you are correct that Ward probably had a committable offer that he didn't jump on. VT is doing a good job down there with the recruiting but I like our pieces better and hopefully Ward does also. If not Watson to me is just a tic behind Cam and Tyrell and I would also take his commitment in a heartbeat.

Kid seems to check a lot of boxes, especially scoring from deep. Very important to have floor spacers to add to the slashers we already have. That he can defend a guy like McDaniel well is promising news. I’d be very happy if we could reel him in.

Denver Anglin, the 6-foot-2 combo guard from Gill St. Bernard’s (N.J.) and the NY Rens, is eyeing a college decision in the coming weeks, he told ZAGSBLOG. “I am deciding after Peach Jam,” he said. Ranked the No. 22 combo guard by 247Sports.com, Anglin said Providence, Miami, UConn, Northwestern, Stanford, Georgetown, Notre Dame and Xavier “are recruiting him the hardest.”

Would be a huge get. Looking at Georgetown's current roster, the glaring need (although there's a few) is a lack of 3-point shooting. Kaiden Rice is really the only true threat, and he won't be here next year. Anglin (by all accounts) is a sniper from deep. And could be a nice complimentary piece in helping Dante at the point guard spot. We'll see what Tyler Beard's made of though this season. But certainly Anglin's 3 point shooting would be the most attractive part of his game, along with his competitiveness.
Anglin or Brumbaugh, I would be ecstatic if we land either one.

Judging from what I've read in the different articles and a few video clips that I have seen, this kid would be our Myles Powell. Can light it up from anywhere! Coach do everything you can to get this kid!
